The Devil and Drinks

There were three men, included Andrew trying to get inside the room, pushing it off and screaming Martin's name. Andrew turned around and looked at her, "Tianne please leave, you don't have any idea what's going on...you are not supposed to be here. Please leave?"

Rick pushed the door again and looked back at Andrew, "He is not even making a noise, it's freaking me out, man. What If it's like the last time...?"

Andrew teared up just at the thought and pushed harder against the door with Rick and John.

Tianne was unsure what to do. She wanted to help, but she didn't want to intrude. "Well, I can unlock the door for you. If you let me, then I can leave. And what do you mean the last time?" She asked curiously, not getting too close since she could see the 3 of them were really trying to get into the door with all their strength. She was worried about Martin, and what the boys meant about there being a last time. She saw that Andrew was upset, and wondered what could possibly be going on.

Andrew sighed and sat down on the floor resting his back against it, "He has bipolar personality disorder, he must have had an episode which is why he's not coming out. He once attempted...self harm and I can't watch him like that, I'd rather see him murder a thousand people in cold blood than the numb Martin." Rick picked up Andrew and pulled him into a hug and assured him, "Relax, he's gonna be okay." He turned to Tianne and looked back at the door, "Can you really help with the door? I regret devising a finger lock system to this fucking steel door."

All three of them looked at her in hope.

Tianne bit her lip at hearing this. She didn't expect Martin to have a disorder, let alone be numb to everything. And the bipolar finally clicked as to why she experienced a lot of mood swings off of him. She watched the exchange between Andrew and Ricky, seeing that they were really close. She almost wished she had that again, but thought better about it.

Hearing the question, she nodded. "I'm going to need my laptop. And a cord to tap into the electrics of the lock itself. If one of you can get me that, that'd be great" she replied, willing to help the boys out with Martin.

Rick nodded and quickly ran towards the laboratory. Andrew was still on the floor, lost in his thoughts, apparently intrusive. Tianne went and knelt next to Andrew, putting a hand on his shoulder. "We will pull him out of this. I promise" she told him.

Rick returned after two minutes with the laptop in his hands, he gave it to Tianne and sat beside her, "I fucking programmed it all but it's so complicated that I can't even alter it now. I have no idea how, but if you manage to nail this, I would literally stop being a jackass to you, I promise. Just make it work."

Turning to Rick as he came back with the laptop. Quickly grabbing it, she attached the lead to the electrics on the finger print board, pulling it from the wall slightly to get better access.

Hearing what Rick said, she smirked slightly. "Someone finally come to the conclusion that they can't always win?" She asked smugly, attaching the lead to her laptop as she said so. She knew it probably didn't help to be all smug about it at the moment, but she couldn't help it. "I'll make it work alright. There's always a way into something" she replied, getting to work on the lock. It took about 5 minutes before the door unlocked with an audible click. With a smile, she unplugged everything and opened the door for them. "Hurry up. If you need me I'll wait out here" she offered.

Rick gasped when the door clicked and whispered, "Holy fuck!" He looked at Andrew who looked at Tianne and back at Andrew, "Let's go."

Tianne looked at Rick with a triumphant smile on her face.

He quickly stood up and opened the door. They looked around the room, Martin was nowhere to be seen until Rick opened the door to bathroom and his jaw dropped at the sight.

She waited patiently for the boys to go in first, standing at the open doorway with her laptop and cord in her hands in front of her, despite the crutches being ditched in the hallway.

He didn't make any sound and motioned Andrew to look what was inside.

Martin was sitting inside his giant bath tub with a floating pizza tray and champagne in his hand, with his headphones on.

Andrew shushed everyone in the room as they were then able to hear him humming some song and then burst into laughter. Tears were flowing down his cheeks as he grabbed his stomach and laughed.

"What the actual fuck?"

Hearing one of them, she raised an eyebrow and walked in, peering over Andrews shoulder with a raised eyebrow. "We should probably just leave him" she whispered to the three of them. "I don't know about you lot, but I could use a drink after this" she added as an afterthought, watching Martin with a raised eyebrow as he laughed. Backing up slowly to the bedroom door, she waited for the others.

Martin was oblivious of what just happened as the men quietly made their way out of the room. Andrew wrapped his arm around Tianne's shoulder. "It's a secret boys, if he finds out we broke into his room while he was humming songs, we all would end up six feet under." Everyone laughed at that and then they made their way towards the elevator.

Closing the door once the boys were out, she joined in with the laughter. "As long as my laptop stays with me, he will never know. But I can delete the history of where I've hacked so that's always a plus" she chuckled, wrapping her arm around Andrews waist in return. Tianne grabbed her crutches again, but used only the one while carrying the other with her laptop under her arm.

Rick ran his fingers across his hair and smiled, "Hey Tianne, wanna check out the building bar? We have a terrace bar here, I bet John can make us all some Martinis."

Hearing Rick's proposal to go to the bar, she nodded. "Sounds good to me. I've always wanted to try one of those sweeter ones. Like an appletini" she replied, jumping in the elevator. She turned to the third guy, not knowing his name yet. "I don't think we've properly met before either. What's your name?" She asked him.

John smiled, "I am John, I am the muscle here. If you wanna master the art of breaking bones, you know who would be your man."

Tianne smiled back. "Well, I might need you to help me train properly. That is once I can walk properly again" she replied to him, then listened to the boys banter for a bit, laughing when she heard Andrew was a bit of a sook, always running back to Martin.

They all went to the bar as John got behind the counter and started making the drinks, "Andrew is such a sissy, man. He cries about everything." Rick added on, "Yeah, Martin once had an argument with him, our boy ended up packing his suitcase and walking out of the gates claiming he will never talk to him, the next day Martin had a fracture and this sucker was serving him soup."

Andrew rolled his eyes and looked at Tianne, "They are exaggerating, I just care about him."

Rick added as he tasted his drink, "Like a waifu, the melodramatic one." Rick chuckled and served them all their drinks.

"Well by the sounds of it, they might not be" she teased, laughing at Rick's comment, sipping on her cocktail. She liked how sweet it tasted, so she drank more, then sat on one of the stools to get off her feet.

Andrew scoffed and drank all of his in a sip, "Whatever, I am glad it was just the bath tub and pizza...wait why was he celebrating? What was he celebrating?"
