Chapter II

I was zoned out, I knew that. I could hear the sounds of people talking, but nothing stood out enough for my brain to bother tuning in. After all, school was easy, memorize this formula, write this essay yada yada yada. The one thing I was looking forward to was the training. My quirk required practice, and to have teachers to guide me would be helpful.

Suddenly the bell rung loudly, snapping me out of the daze I was in. I saw everyone getting up, so I gathered my things and stood as well. I hit the inside of my cheek lightly before tapping the red head next to me on the shoulder.

"Sorry I wasn't listening at all, what's happening now?" I said, slightly sheepish. Kirishima chuckled and opened his mouth to answer when a harsh voice cut in.

"It's training time extra. Maybe next time take your head out of your ass and you'd hear that." I whipped my head around to look at the angry blonde, who was staring daggers at me. I frowned slightly at him, tilting my head as a scent wafted towards me.

"You smell sweet, like caramel, so why is your personality so sour?" I blurted the question out before I could stop myself. Bakugo seemed surprised, and he turned a little red. He grimaced at me before responding.

"Fuck off creep, why are you smelling me? Piss off and let's go Kirishima, we're gonna be late." He began to walk away and flipped me the bird on his way out. Kirishima gave an apologetic smile towards me and scampered after the angry blonde. I was left there, but the warning bell made me rush to the gym, where I saw two doors leading into separate changing rooms.

As I went in, I saw my classmates there, some changed already and others halfway done. As I walked in a girl with pink skin and yellow eyes bounded over to me to take my hands in her own. She began shaking them up and down excitedly.

"Hey Y/n! I'm sooooo glad we have another girl in the class! I'm Mina Ashido, but you can just call me Mina, mkay?" She spoke rapidly, and began to tug me towards the others. I let her drag me, and took the gym uniform out of my bag and began to change as the rest of the girls began to ask me things.

"So where are you from?"

"Do you like it here already?"

"Do you have a boyfriend?"

The last question caught me off guard, and the brown haired girl who had asked me the question giggled, her rosy cheeks standing out against her pale skin. I knew my face had heated up, and I stuttered out a response.

"I uh, I've never had a boyfriend....my grandparents said I didn't need to concern myself with that stuff until it's time to marry." I trailed off at the horrified looks they gave me.

A frog looking girl piped up, tilting her head curiously at me.

"That's just not right! You should be able to have fun and date while your young, not be cooped up like an old maid." She said with a firm tone.

"Tsu is right, that's so not cool of them." Mina said with a frown. "Guess we'll just have to find you the perfect guy ourselves!" She finished with a grin.

I grinned back, and felt all warm and fuzzy inside. Was this how I used to be? Sociable and easy to talk to? Talking to these girls made me feel welcomed, and as I finished getting ready I kept chatting and giggling with them.

I followed the group as we left the locker room, and gathered in the gym. Aizawa sensei was standing, waiting with a bored look on his face. Once everyone was standing and silent he began to speak.

"Alright class, today we will be sparring to improve your quirks and combat skills. You may use your quirks, but just don't kill each other, that would be too much paperwork for me." He began to list off names, pairing them together when I heard my name be called.

"Y/n, your with Bakugo in the back." I felt my eyebrows rise with shock, and I heard the blondes angry protest, through a stern look from Aizawa cut it short.

I walked to the training spot, and began to stretch. My back cracked, and I moved my shoulder around in preparation. Bakugo stood across from me, and was doing the same.

"Hey extra don't expect me to hold back just because your a girl alright? I don't care what type of quirk you have, it won't be enough. NOW DIE!" He finished off by using his quirk to propel himself forward. I leapt to the side, and my arm turned liquid like and black and I shot it towards him.

Y/N L/N:The ink hero!
Y/n's body parts can turn into a thick liquid ink like substance, which can be used for all sorts of purposes! Her body turns to ink automatically when injured, and can still retain her original shape! Her arms and legs are able to reach and grab things easily, while also becoming sharp as a knife. Y/n's inky grip is nearly impossible to escape! However, the cold makes her sluggish and slow, and water will counteract her quirk, making it nearly impossible for her to use it!

The ink hit him in the chest, and spread outwards from there. He struggled, and tried to explode his way out, but the heat did nothing to the liquid, much to his obvious anger. I began stepping towards him, and I tightened my hold on him as it finally reached his face. It stopped just before reaching his mouth and nostrils, when I noticed his eyes.

They were raw, and panicked. They seemed glossed over, as if he wasn't even here. He was breathing sporadically, and panting heavily. I let him go, and he collapsed on the spot. Concerned, I rushed to him, setting his head in my lap, stroking his head trying to calm him down.

After a few moments Bakugo's angry eyes returned, and he shoved me off of him.

"What kind of fucking monster quirk is that."

Damn this chapter lowkey depressing, with Y/n's quirk brining up PTSD from that sludge monster attack. I will try to update this again later this week, and a warning, this will probably be less than 25 chapters, so don't get too attached.
