My school wasn't that far from our house but I didn't like walking it. When I walk to school I always get fidgity and paranoid almost as if something is watching me. Probably just the cities toll on me from early days. Before I knew it all I could see were images of that day and the willow tree. Her body bloody beaten and hanging there. Her neck was clearly broken as parts of the bones were poking out of her flesh and how her neck fell in an inhumanly way to the side and how her entire body was the same broken, bruised and limp. All I could see were her dead eyes staring at me they were so dull, empty and lifeless.
Oh how much I wish I could forget but I keep remembering! All that blood....
Who could be so cruel?
"Why don't you go back and ask someone who you find to be so near and dear to you," a harsh voice of a women said drawing me out from my nightmarish daydream.
"Wha--?" I turned on my heels to only be greeted by a shadow silhouette of a girl who couldn't be any older than me.
"I heard it. 'Who could be so cruel'? You asked that didn't you, Aria?"
How did this shadow-NO thing hear that I was thinking unless...did I say that aloud?
"No you didn't say that. And you hadn't let me finish kid," the shadow said changing it's form before my eyes. She changed from a shadow into a-a monster! A demon!
As I looked her over fear cause my knees to buckle and fall to the floor I could clearly see blood lots of it. God she was covered in it! Even her hair was as red as the blood in it! Which wasn't the most surprising thing there because protruding out of her scull were four pair of black steer horns and the bottom one on the right side of her head was broken almost as if it was broken by hand.
She had a crooked smile plaster on her face as her pure black eye that seem to be rotting away from disease or parasites prevalent as her other eyes was blood shot and even some of the red liquid flowed freely from all open crevasses of her face except her nose.
She wore a vibrant red tank top, black leather jacket which hung from her shoulders, black skirt to match and a pair boots.
But the things I payed attention to most were the tails...
Three long prong tipped tails seem to spot from her own body with the sicken sound of ripping flesh and the cracking of bone leaving a heavy copper smell in the air. Tears welled in my eyes as I looked back up. It wasn't the tails that made that sicken sound it was the wings appearing and taking form with her own flesh and bone. I couldn't take anymore and I puked up bile as I hadn't had breakfast yet.
"You want to know who was cruel enough to do that you should ask that one person you care most. The girl you call Elisa. She has done enough cruelty it would put Hitler or Stallin to shame," the girl said with no remorse as those words berated me endlessly.
"No..."
"Hmmm...?"
"THAT'S NOT TRUE!!"
"Then go find out but if you go back yours and your sisters lives may end up in tragedy," she warned me even though her face lacked any expression at all.
Without another thought I raced back home.
What the hell was that?!!
I've got to get home and check on Elisa!
