The new girl

Once the lunch time bell had gone everyone packed up and left as quick as they could. While Kay was walking slowly towards a bench by herself because her only friend(paislee) was on a holiday with her family, luna ran up to her.
" Hey" luna said enthusiastically
" Oh hey" Kay replied confused once again.
Before luna could get out another word a group of popular girls walked past
"Oh look it's the lonely little gay girl" one of them wined
" Come on new girl don't talk to her, come with us". Another one said
Luna was confused but didn't want to make a bad impression.
"Oh...um okay" luna spoke sadly

Luna trailed behind the big group of popular girls as all they were doing was gossiping and that didn't interest her. She was disappointed that she wasn't able to befriend Kay as she thought she looked cool.
