Leah's POV

I decided to spend some time at home working on the bike I had, when Sam walked through the door. Things were finally falling into place. Me and Sam came to an understanding, he would have his pack and I would have mine, we were now equals.

Your POV

You was growing anxious day by day. Charlie was growing too fast. You all worried how long you'd have with her, it made every moment more precious. Snow started sticking to the ground, you decided to take her to play in the snow, Leah came with you both of course. Charlie caught a snowflake coming over to you.

"Look a snowflake." You bent down so you was at her level. You smiled at her. "It's beautiful, why don't you go get another one?" You went and stood next to Leah who was in wolf form. "Kate thinks we'll find answers in Brazil, there are tribes there that might know something." Charlie jumped up into the air catching a snow flake. Charlie turned, seeing someone in the distance. You stepped forward to get a closer look. Charlie ran over to Leah, clinging to her leg, Leah let out a growl in warning. Charlie asked "Who is that?" Carlisle... "I think that's an old family friend."

Carlisle turned and took off running. "Carlisle!" You hadn't spoken to him since you was human. You quickly ran after him, hoping to talk to him and explain. You got to the waters edge...but it was too late, he was gone.

When you all got back yiu told everyone what had happened. Kate sat at the piano with Charlie. Tanya looked at you. "He and Esme probably realised that they made a mistake, but probably changed their mind when they saw Leah."

Carmen and Eleazer were playing chess. You was watching Kate and Charlie play the piano along with Rosalie, Emmett, Leah and Tanya. Jasper and Irina were both reading books.

Alice walked in the room carrying a glass vase when a vision hit, as she came out of the vision, she dropped the vase glass scattering everywhere. You all looked at her, Jasper was at her side in an instant. "What is it Alice?"

Alice looked worried. "The Volturi, they're coming for us...Aro...Ciaus...Marcus... the guard and Carlisle..."

You walked around the piano and reached your hand out to Charlie.

"Honey, come here." Charlie walked over to you and you rested your hands on her shoulders protectively.

Tanya stepped forward. "Why?" Kate stayed sitting at the Piano. "What did Carlisle see in the woods?" You shook your head.
"We were just walking..."

Leah added. "Charlie was catching snow flakes." Something in Kate seemed to click and it did with the rest of the Denali's. "Of course...Carlisle thinks Charlie's an immortal child..."
