2. First Talk

She was caught.

He glanced at her still half-dazed.

She froze for a few seconds and quickly pulled her hands as stood up.

He gets up and sits down then looked at her.

She bites her lips as felt very embarrassed.

He felt awkward and thought about what had just happened.

He was afraid to misunderstand, "You..just now-"

She cuts his words quickly, "I did nothing to you. I swear-" she said firmly and clearly while raising her two fingers to convince him.

"I just a little bit help you." She continued which almost held her breath.

He just looked at her without responding making her look more embarrassing.

"Thank you." He said suddenly.

Her face looks confused over his word,

"Thank.You?"

"You said you helped me a little." He looks cool as he says and leaves her there that almost explode because she couldn't hold her heart.

"Ah ... I'm so embarrassed .." she hissed softly while holding her forehead and closing her eyes.

"But.." she turned to blushed with a smile on her face. "He thanked me ... "

Break time was the best time to eat in the canteen or just watch basketball in the field. Today, Minah forced her to accompany her to watch basketball.

"You haven't been to the rooftop in a week. I'm very happy!" Minah smiled widely while giving her banana milk. Yeah, Minah right. She hasn't gone to the rooftop for several days.

Of course, she couldn't go there after what happened between her and Sehun.

And she was grateful that their seats were far apart. She was in the front row and he was at the back.

She tried not to show her face because she was still ashamed.

In the end, she hasn't given her the reason. She poked the milk bottle with a straw and drank it quickly as watched the basketball game lazily.

"Hey, doesn't Hejoon look cool?" Minah nudged her shoulder. "Ah, right! He confessed his feelings to you last month."

She looks ignorant of her friends who become so excited.

"You reject him. Isn't your ideal type? Tall, beautiful smile, and handsome. There are no girls who do not like him."

"From now on I'm only going to date people that I like." She said firmly.

Minah almost spurts her drink.

"You have never been serious about men. You break up quickly and date again quickly. You don't even know if your feelings last or not."

She shrugged and smiled, "So what? Maybe the next person will be my first love or my fate."

"I mean, I doubt you. You experienced in dating but not your heart-"

She rolled her eyes a little lazily to hear her friend but her attention was immediately diverted to someone who was walking in the corridor.

"How about Oh Sehun?" Suddenly, she asked Minah.

"Oh Sehun?" Minah looked at her direction.

Minah immediately shook her face, "He is indeed handsome. But he doesn't seem to like girls ..."

"What do you mean?"

"Think about it, he could have used his handsome face to date many girls. You are popular! And have you ever seen him even glancing at you? Never."

She doubted her friend, "Isn't that a good thing. That means when he likes someone, he will really like her. There are types like that-"

Minah still does not agree. "He's also very cold and hard to talk to. I hear every girl ends up hating him-"

She remembered the incident on the rooftop. "I don't feel that way. Isn't he just being honest?"

"Still, he's just acting cool."

"Kim Ahyoung!" Minah is getting annoyed.

She tightened her lips and ignored her friend's sharp gaze.

"Are you trying to say that you are interested in HIM?" She asked with a little intimidation.

"A little.." she answered softly in hesitation.

"Better you forget it. You will only end up being humiliated by him." Minah is a bit serious about this. She sighs, "He's too hard to reach, even if it's you-"

She didn't hear Minah's words. She felt that he was not like many people say.
