Years passed by, Rio developed his cooking skills and learned the basics. One night, he was called to go down for dinner. At the table, his parents asked him what he wanted to be since college was fast approaching, he replied undoubtedly "I want to pursue to be an Italian Chef". Rio's parents smiled and supported his decision, and asked why he wanted to be an Italian Chef? He replies, "I want to see grandmother happy, I wanna make her the best Italian dish I could make. I want her to enjoy the Italian dish just like when I was younger". He then studies harder, on that quiet night. Listening to music. Hearing the crickets chirp and imagining the future and all that is to come.
Years later, Rio applied to a culinary school which he fervently studied and prepared for. He gazed upon the sky and hoped that he could pass the test. Months later, he received a letter from the college he applied for. He was so nervous thinking he could have failed, worrying what he would do after if he didn't get in. He couldn't sit still and was walking back and forth. He built up the courage to open the letter. Upon reading the letter, his eyes filled with shock. Tears of joy followed after, feeling so happy that he was accepted into the culinary school. Rio then tells his parents about the news, and everyone was happy and they celebrated.
He thought, "My hard work paid off, and I am one step closer to becoming an Italian Chef."
