This is my first one-shot. And yeah, I forgot to write "one-shot" in the title, hope you don't mind. I couldn't come up with a headline for this, so I wrote Umbrella. Anyhoo, let's begin!

The pitter-patter of the rain grew louder by every second as Marinette continued to design rain-themed outfits. Tikki, her kwami was asleep until the blunette's phone let out a loud beep which jolted her and caused Marinette to fall back with her chair.

"That hurt," She complained rubbing the back of her head. "But why did I put an alarm at 6 o'clock?" she glanced at the clock.

"Don't tell me you forgot!" The red creature exclaimed, flying over to her owner.

"Forgot what Tikki?"

"You said- promised Chat Noir you would meet him today!"

"Right...but since it's raining, I don't think I'll be going. " She frowned a bit.

"Remember when you didn't show up last time? He was heartbroken! This time he might even get akumatized! Plus, you made him a gift, you wouldn't want to delay giving it to him now, would you?"

"Alright, alright. No need to remind me."

"Sorry" Tikki apologized. She knew it was a nightmare for her owner.

"It's fine," the blunette looked at the spotted kwami, reassuring her with a smile. "But how do I not catch a cold while going?"

"Ever heard of something called 'umbrella'?"

(Y'all probably know where this is going-)

"Right, of course! Thanks, Tikki"

"Alright, now hurry up. You wouldn't want to keep him waiting."

Marinette quickly gathered her things and put them where they belonged. She went down to get an umbrella, and there was one left, the one her crush gave. She remembered the day clearly, the day she fell in love with the model, with the rain pattering and the thunder booming of what made it more...magical. Oh, those beautiful, forest green eyes, sparkling like the stars, filled with sincerity and hope, of sweetness and kindness.
She sighed, wishing she could go back to that day and repeat everything that happened. What was strange was that every time she would look at those eyes, they reminded of something- someone she couldn't quite put her finger on.

Today was the day she- they, whoever Cat Noir is, became superheroes. The day she met Tikki, the day she became friends with Alya. She smiled at her thoughts as she took the umbrella and headed to her room, making sure her mother didn't notice.

She yelled out her transformation words and swung to where Cat told her to meet him.

She gasped when she reached on top of the Eiffel tower. The metal floor was covered in petals of red roses, there was a white table with designs of golden roses, and with 2 cups of hot chocolate, a few croissants, macaroons and cookies of every flavour placed on the table. A big umbrella was in such a position that it covered the two chairs and the table. The table was small honestly, sort of the type you find in cafes, just a bit fancier. Stood beside the arrangments was a human dressed in a cat costume made of leather from top to bottom, with a black mask covering his face. He looked nervous and held something a box in his hands.

Ladybug dropped the umbrella and lunged herself towards her partner, embracing him in a tight hug. She felt him relax into the hug, almost as if he were relieved.
