"Wh-What?? Are you being serious? I don't think you realize how risky that is.." Licorice stammered nervously. "Oh, I do understand how risky it is. But do you seriously think Pomegranate and the others will really care if we're gone? I can already tell she doesn't exactly care whether we're gone of not.." Red Velvet muttered. "I mean...yeah, but still...where'd we go??" Licorice asked. "You have a place, right? Oh wait...doesn't Poison Mushroom live with you..?" Red Velvet asked carefully. "Yeah.. Doesn't help that they also work for Pomegranate... Besides, once Pomegranate realizes we're missing, her first guess of where we'd be is where Poison Mushroom and I live...things just can't work out for us, huh?" Licorice sighed in defeat. "Hey..don't give up just yet.. I'm sure we can get it figured out.. Pomegranate told me I have until tomorrow afternoon to get things situated, so we have until then to figure out what we'll do" Red Velvet said, turning to face Licorice. Licorice looked up at Red Velvet and still had an uncertain look on his face. "You trust me...right? Whatever happens, I'll make sure we're both safe, okay?" Red Velvet asked, grabbing ahold of Licorice's hands gently. "Okay... Sometimes I wonder why you get so protective of me.. I appreciate it, a lot, but I just don't get it.." Licorice said softly. "I really care about you..a lot..it's a bit of a tendency of mine to be extremely protective of those that have significance to me..that being you and Chiffon" Red Velvet smiled. "Oh Red Velvet...you're too sweet.." Licorice laughed softly and pulled Red Velvet into a hug. "Just looking out for you...you and Chiffon are all that I have, really.." Red Velvet hugged back. "I love you.." Licorice said softly before quickly kissing Red Velvet on his lips. Red Velvet kissed back a bit roughly by accident. Licorice whimpered softly as he gave in and deepened the kiss. Red Velvet pulled away, panting softly. "H-Hey..calm down there..someone's a bit needy, huh?" Red Velvet laughed breathily. "Shut up! It's your fault..." Licorice whined. "You were a bit rough to begin with" he huffed. "I didn't mean to, but I know you liked it..weirdo" Red Velvet smirked. "Fuck off.." Licorice snickered as he laid back down. Red Velvet then laid down next to Licorice. "Hey so..on a more serious note...we should probably get this situation figured out.. It may seem like we have a lot of time, but we really don't" Red Velvet said with an exasperated sigh. "I know..we could just take the risk and go back to my place..because most of the time, Poison Mushroom is here at the tower..so it should work" Licorice said, grabbing ahold of Red Velvet's hand. "Are you really willing to take that risk..? Because we could figure out another way to make this work....I'm sure of it" Red Velvet asked, gently squeezing Licorice's hand. "I'm sure we'll be fine... worst case scenario is they find us, but like you said, the odds of anybody actually caring where we're at are slim. We should be okay, y'think..?" Licorice asked, looking up at Red Velvet.
