Sorin and i walked through the airport, handing the person at the desk our tickets, while eyeing us suspiciously.

We watched as she gave us an obviously fake smile, before telling us to head on in towards the private jet parking lots.

from the corner of my eye i saw the lady reach under the desk and pull out a red coloured phone.

we stepped out onto the tarmac, scanning the view, before making my way to the largest plane.

sorin and the airport worker picked up their pace, carrying the rest of the bags, while i towed one bag in my left, and slowly sipping on my hot chocolate with my right.

as i reached the stairs, a woman in a black blazer and pink button up shirt showed up infront of us.

i dont remember father allowing people to dress in pink, he had a very strict dresscode, as a persons outfit is something a person will notice first.

the womans hair was pulled up into a messy bun, while the top two buttons of the pink shirt were undone.

'what is she wearing' sorin mumbled to me, with a look of absolute disgust.

the woman cleared her throat, 'excuse me, but this jet is not available to children, if you wish then we can arrange for you to fly in economy in our next departing plane. dont worry, the idiot who let you two access to this area will be punished.' she stated in a snooty tone, eyeing us up and down.

'actually we booked this jet, we specifically asked for the biggest one, look it even has our names on it' sorin interjected, pointing to the side of the black jet, where arcane airlines was printed on the side, in large  gold lettering.

what can i say, mother doesnt do things in halves.

the atrocious woman sneered, clutching her waist. 'oh honey you must be delusional, this jet is booked for the arcane family only, infact all these planes are, not for wannabe vermins like you'  she said, gesturing to the multiple planes in the lot.

'we know, now if you excuse us, we have a flight to get to, unless you want to lose your job on a wednesday'  i replied in a monotone voice, before handing her my empty cup of hot chocolate.

she scoffed before throwingthe cup to the side, splattering a few drops of hot chocolate all over the front of my while cable knit sweater.

'ooooh you shouldnt have done that' sorin whispered under his breath.

'listen here miss, i dont know who you are but you obviously have no common sense, or brains for that matter. did it ever occur to you that you are the one working from six in the morning to around 7 in the evening, that you probably havent even stepped foot outside this continent, despite the fact that you work in an airport. your salary is $20,000 a year is it not?' i asked, stepping up to her, closing the space between us so i towered over her.

'that amount is my monthly pocket money, loose change' i hissed in a sharp tone.

'now before you even think about talking back to me, i would like to warn you that no one, i repeat no one has been able to talk to me disrespectfully, let alone look down at me, without suffering permanent damage, so consider yourself lucky that you are even standing here, and not being shipped off to the artic in a cold metal box.' as i finished, a familier voice called out from behind the woman in the pink shirt.

'ellara!sorin! longtime no see! to what do we owe this pleasure' the voice said, i stepped past the shivering woman, shoving her shoulder lightly, a smile coming on to my face, as i realised who it was'
