"Well if it isn't my lucky day" He spoke.

"holy shit I'm sorry! My friend is bitching to me and I wasn't payin-" I began to apologize.

"I know you. Did we go to school together?" he said.

"Uhm yeah? I don't know but you look familiar to." I said trying to keep the conversation alive.

"Y/n, right? we had Mr. Ackerman English together." He said.

Damn how does he remember that?

"Oh yeah! Your the super hot life guard guy." I said.

Did I really just? I can't. Im sick of my life.

"Oh am I?" Armin said with a growing smirk.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to- I thought that was in my head." I said.

I could feel my face heat up as the cringe lingered in my mind. I'm a fucking idiot.

"It's ok love, I've had my eye on you too." He said.

"What?" I choked on air.

"I don't mean it like that! You surf right?" He stuttered a bit as his face began to change color.

"Yeah..." I said almost signaling him to get to his point.

"Well after my shift at the swimming beach is over, I sometimes go to the surfing beach and check it out for a bit."

"You mean check me out?" I teased him.

"No! well-No! I mean like check the waves." He continued to stutter.

"hello? y/n? WAKE UP BITCH!" Mikasa screamed from the phone.

"shit my bad! um yeah your bathing suit is def under my bed uh yeah ok bye!"

"no don't you dare hang up on me-" I hung up the phone and cut her off.

Silence filled the air quickly making me move forward on my toes then back on my heels.

"NEXT!" finally the cashier screamed from behind the counter.

"ladies first." I said with a smirk.

"if you insist" he said moving in front of me

Armin ordered his food, and just as I ordered mine, he opened his mouth.

"The swells are beautiful. Hope to see you out there." he said with a wink

Omfg. now I just got finessed.

(timeskip; back at the apartment)

"I'm back!" I yelled.

Mikasa came out of her bedroom wearing the bathing suit she was looking for, paired with light washed denim shorts. Her hair was tied in a ponytail placed right above her neck with a few pieces hanging out here and there.
