Lexie

Joshua waggled his eyebrows at me as he alternated lifting each hand high in the air. "Bright orange or Peacock blue?"

I scrunched up my nose as he once more lifted the box of orange hair dye, and I shook my hair.

"Peacock blue it is!" He spun on his heels and skipped towards the bathroom. "Come along my lovely lady counterpart. I need help with the back. You know the drill."

"Seriously?" I whined as I followed him into the bathroom, taking the box of dye from his hands. "Can't you just pick one permanent color rather than using wash out dye's that constantly have to be touched up?"

His eyes went wide as he stared at me, his mouth agape. "The horror. How dare you even suggest that."

"Or..." I wiggled my eyebrows at him, mimicking his own movements from earlier. "You can NOT dye it at all and just be the beautiful natural blonde that you are."

"Blasphemy!" He swiped the box of dye back out of my hands and began to open the box. "I should throttle you for even suggesting such a heinous thing."

I laughed at him as he pulled out the contents, setting them on the surface of paper towels that he had set up previously. He sat down on the toilet, pulling his shirt off and tossing it onto the floor.

"How did you do this when I was gone, and you were still in Paris by yourself?" I draped the black towel over his shoulders as I applied Vaseline to his hairline. I hated the stuff and didn't think it was necessary, but Joshua always insisted.

He giggled, a high-pitched sound as his hand covered his mouth and his cheeks went red. "I may have convinced our favorite barista to help me in exchange for sexual favors."

"Your favorite barista." I pointed out as I pulled on gloves and began to apply the blue dye to his hair. "The guy never said more than two words to me. He was always all googly eyed over you."

"Googly eyed? Really Lex? Who says googly eyed?" Scoffing, he reached one hand behind him, pinching my thigh hard.

"Josh!" I screamed as my hand jerked down, leaving a blue streak across the side of his face.

He turned his head slowly as his eyes narrowed. "Did you just get that on my perfect, beautiful face."

"No!" I quickly answered, ignoring the streak as I worked the dye through his hair once more.

His face was moving back and forth, his lips twitching as he tried to look down at his cheek. "It sure feels like you did."

"Okay. Maybe a little." I admitted, pulling my hands back from his head. The dye had been completely worked into the top part of his hair and the damp hair piled on top.

He jumped up, knocking me backwards as he scurried over to the mirror. In an attempt to keep myself upright, I reached forward, grabbing at his bare torso.

He was staring at me, his mouth wide in horror as he took in the darkening streak down his cheek. His eyes met mine in the mirror then slowly lowered to where my hands were still firmly planted on his abdomen. "Take those filthy hands off this statuesque body right now, miss Lexie."

When I removed my hands, leaving behind two visible blue handprints, Joshua's face paled and his jaw dropped even further. "What have you done to my beautiful body?"
