All day people have been talking about this new kid that is super hot and now him and Rachel were dating if he is dating Rachel I knew he must be dumb. Not that I care or anything it's just what I have heard. I had my last class of the day finally and everyday the school day drags on Art class is the only class that I like and don't what to get out of class for even during class there is always people in the hallway walking around. When I turn eighteen and get out of the system I am going to get as far away for this place. I had just finished painting my new art project she said to create something that only you know the meaning of and have everyone in the class guess what it means. I chose to draw a raven feather it's just something I always see in my dreams when I was ten I remember that there was a whole pack of I sometimes I look back on that day and I used to think that the ravens kill them. I know how dumb that sounds.So many people came up to me and asked me mean and the truth is that I don't even know so I told them something weird and artsy I don't even remember what I said. I sat down next to my drawing when a boy with dark brown hair and was wearing a beat up lather jacket what does that mean Looked up and saw it was him.

            Oh my god you were the one who was following me this morning when was going to school! I said scared. look just hear me out I just moved down the street from you and I didn't know what Bus to take to school and I met your mom who said you go to the same school as me. First of all you could have talk to me and second of all Cathy is not my Mom. Oh sorry I didn't mean to scare you like that he said. By the way what's your name I asked Oh my name is Kyle Rachel walked up to us there you are I've been looking you everywhere what are you doing talking to this loser. Oh I was to talking about her art work you need to see the drama room it's awesome. Cool I will talk to you later  Kyle said and went with Rachel maybe this he was not that bad. The bell rang Cathy came into the school "Cathy what are you doing here? I asked her I have a meeting with your teachers I got a call today at work. Oh I said. Just great I thought a student that's doing great in school wouldn't be worried but I'am doing worse than the people repeating the grade. I just bumped into one of the neighbors and he said he can give you a ride home Cathy said got to go I have to go I'm a almighty late. Cathy ran off wait which neighbor? 

Hiya Neighbor I turned around and saw standing near a car Kyle. So your driving me home I could unless you want to walk for an hour. I think I will let you driving I said I opened the door to the car and climbed to sit at the back seat of the car the we sat in dead silent for ten minutes until he asked so you like art he asked. yeah I guess I liked your painting he said. Look you seem nice but I don't need you pulling my leg because you feel bad for me. I said yelling Wow you must not get a lot of nice things said to you. Oh I can you tell a normal would say thank you. You said that Cathy was not your mom so what is she you Aunt, family friend?. No she my Foster mother, Oh he with a silent voice . You don't to take pity on me I don't fall apart when I hear that word so did you parent give you up. No their missing I said, "Oh well is Awkward", The rest of the ride was quiet his face was calm I didn't think about how I had made him feel uncomfortable but should I say I've never been one to deal with stuff like this. he stopped on my driveway. "Look I'am sorry I didn't mean to yell at you like that", " That Cool " I got out of the car walked to the door I looked under the mat. Crap she forgot to put the key under the mat what should I do I will be out here for two hours maybe I should ask if I can hang out at his house until Cathy comes home. Walked to his house I ringed the door bell he answered the door "Oh you again so what do you want", "I don't have the key to my house can I hang out here for a bit", "Make yourself at home what something to eat", " No I'am not hungry", His house was bigger than Cathy's but I can tell it's old and needs fixing. "So how Long have you lived here", he asked "I don't know how long Cathy has been living here but I've been here for three weeks", I answered "Do you think you will stay here"? he asked "Only If Cathy wants to keep me", I said, "Why do you care"? I asked "because I want to be friends",he said and looked at me with soft eyes "what", I said "Why are you so surprised", he asked "I don't have any friends", I said. "That why we need to be friends or you just could go crazy", he said. *I laughed* my phone went off it was a text from Cathy

From Cathy: Why?

From Allie: Cuz u forgot 2 leave the key

From Cathy: I'm home now walk over

From Allie: kk coming now

"I have to go Cathy came home", "Cool it was nice hanging out with you friend", he said *I smiled* you too friend. I walked home in the cold night as I got to the front door the door opened a guy came out of the house he looked like he was in his mid-forties and he had some gray. I hid behind a tree Cathy came out of the house she looked angry I could not hear what they were saying. Then Cathy said "Don't even worry about it she will never fine them", Then a raven from the tree behind me landed on the guy's arm after he disappeared. I blinked in disbelief as soon as Cathy closed the door I waited ten minutes trying to think of logical explanation for what could have happened but thought of nothing I built up the bravery to walk up to the door. she opened the door with the biggest fake smile I have ever seen. "Sorry I forgot to leave the key under the mat", she said "do you want anything to eat?" , she asked. I shake my head too scared to answer I went to my room turned off the light went under the covers and went to sleep. I wake up to a cool breeze I opened my eyes I was in a tent "Help" I run outside my parents being taken by a person in a black robe with a raven feather on the back of the robe I run after them but they disappeared.  I woke the sound of the alarm on my phone. I got out of my bed got dress I looked like a mess the bags under my eye and my pale face. walked down the stairs Cathy said she would driving me to school but I said I would get a ride with Kyle I walked to the Kyle's house he was just going to leave. "Can I catch a ride with you to school", I said *He looked at me with a smile* "Get in", he said I got in the car. "So now that were friends now tell me stuff about you", he said. "What do you want to know?", I answered back "What your favorite food?", "Big Mac", "Favorite Band?", "Pink Floyd", "Favorite Movie?" , "Battle Royale" "Favorite T.V show", Salem. We got school I got out of the car we spent 20 minutes before the we had to go to class talking. "You know we have been friends for a day and I don't know you name", he said (Wow did I really not tell him my name?) "Hello anyone in there?", he asked "Oh It's Allyson; Allie for short" I answered "Well I think that is a beautiful name", he said I blushed. 

The bell rang "Oh I have to go to class", Kyle

"Do you know where you are going?", "Yeah i'll be fine", he walked away my cheeks were still burning. "Watch where your going loser", I looked up and saw Rachel with a smug look on her face. "Sorry", I said "you should be sorry for bumping into me like that" I went into my class. Class took forever and I was getting bored really fast all I could think about is that guy with the Raven what did she mean by she will never find them?
