Ch.16 The Truth

Ryder pov: Before we left I thought I should show the pups some new vehicles that me and Rocky have been working on  they will allow us to get where we need to be a lot faster.

Ryder: Before we go pups, I have some new vehicles that me and Rocky have been working on, they will get us trough the woods very fast.

Rocky: Ryder there not ready, we don't know if there are any defects.

Ryder: Rocky, we are gonna have to take a chance.

Rocky: If you think they will make it then okay.

Ryder: Pups, I would like to introduce you to our brush vehicles, these have attachments on them that will  allow us to break anything in our way so that we can get trough, plus they have super tough tires that will allow us to drive over anything without them popping, well what are we waiting for lets go.

It did not take us long to find the markings that Chase had left for us to follow to get to where he and Edme went, we wasted no time and started off immediately, we went from marking to marking, following them for what seemed like miles, before we finally arrived at a part of the woods that we all thought we would never have to visit again.

Skye: I always hoped that we would never have to visit this place again, is it even safe to go in?

Ryder: If it was not safe to go into I don't think that Chase would have gone, he would have been able to smell any toxins that may have been left from the fire, but the trail continues so we do to.

We had traveled through the dead woods for maybe thirty seconds before the trailed had stopped. We had gotten out of our vehicles and looked around, then all of sudden we heard a screem.

Skye: Ahhhhh!

Ryder: What is it Skye?

Skye: Its Faolan.

Ryder: Pups see if you can find anything else, Marshall Come here.

Marshall: Okay let me take a look.

Skye: Is he alive?

Marshall: Um, let me see if I can find a heart beat...... I don't hear anything.... wait there is one but its very slow, he has lost a lot of blood so I don't know if he will even make, I don't know how long he has been here so I need start on him now, Ryder is there stuff in my vehicle that I need.

Ryder: Everything you need should be in there, everything but blood.

Marshall: Then I will need somepup to do a blood transfer, hopefully someone here has his type, give me a couple hours, I will tell you what type of blood i need in about thirty minutes, and which pups here have it.

Ryder: Okay while you do that the rest of us will look for clues about Chase and Edme.

Rocky: Ryder! Come look what me and Zuma found.

When I had gotten to Rocky and looked at what he wanted me to look, I could not believe my eyes, right in front of me was a rocky cliff, and just below the top was the pup tag of no other then... Chase, that means that Chase had fallen down there into the water, and Edme may of had the same fate, We had told all the pups but Marshall what we had found, we did not want too upset him while he was working on Faolan, all of us could not believe what happened, nor do we want to except it. Not long after he had called Skye and said that she was the only one who had the type of blood he needed, he also said that it was all he need he surprisingly only had minor wounds, the had just been no stop bleeding for a long time. After he had gotten the blood into Faolan He had said that it may take awhile for him to wake up, we then told him the news, and we all went home sadder then ever before.
