"Oh, (Y/N)." Minhyun called out, out of nowhere. You hung your head low and (M/N) pulled you closer to him. "Who are you?" He asked Minhyun. Minhyun looked at (M/N) from top to bottom. "Oh it's you that made her become the talk of the town. Why are you still with him? Did he threaten you?" He asked then he looked at you concerned. The both of them looked like they were going to be in a fight.

"Why do you care about me suddenly?" You said in a soft voice. Minhyun looked at you. "Of course, what do you mean? I am your crush right?" He said and you blushed and felt angry. "You think it's funny?! How dare you. You're mocking me right?! Go away! You don't even trust me." You said as you tried not to cry.(M/N) saw that and pulled you into a hug.

"It's okay, cry it out. I am here." He said as he patted your back. "You trust this idiot?!" Even after what he did to you?" Minhyun shouted. "He's better than you! You're the idiot! You're blind! You're too blind for Jaehee that you don't believe me when I said that she cheated on you. I hope you see that one day and regret saying harsh words to me, Minhyun!" You tried holding back your tears and pulled (M/N) along to an alleyway.

Once the both of you reached, you let
go of his hand and took a deep breath. "Why! Why now?! Stupid Minhyun!" You cried harder and tried to stop but couldn't. "Who..?" (M/N) asked, still in guilt.

"My sister's boyfriend.. I always had a crush on him.. but all of my feelings went away.. not completely, I am still in love with him a little.. of course it hurts when he said this to me. 'Don't you dare say anything bad about your sister. No wonder they all hate you. All you do is to lie to get something.'" At this point of time, you broke down and buried your face in your hands.

He walked towards you, bent down and hugged you. "I'm sorry (Y/N) for being the next one to hurt you.. I.. it's just that.. My dad threatened me to leave you if not I will get married to the girl that he wanted me to.. But of course I didn't want that and accepted his request.. I'm such a fool.. I'm so selfish.. I'm sorry (Y/N).. You don't deserve me.. You can leave me if you want.. I hurt you a lot of times already.. I will accept it.. You have the right to" He said and tried not to sob.

You froze and tried to process what he said. "No.. please don't say sorry.. you had to marry the girl that your dad arranged for you.. I think you didn't like the girl.. Don't apologize.. it's for your good. I am used to it anyway.. being alone.. but your future would be with you forever. I am not mad at you. I understand.. I am not going to leave you. I promise. I'm sorry for being mean.. I said that you were like the others. I'm sorry. Please forgive me.." You sobbed, feeling bad. He stroked your hair.

"No.. no.. you didn't do anything wrong.. It was me because I left you when you were in need of someone and when you were the talk of the town.. I was.. I was furious.. but I couldn't do anything and that made me a coward.. I am the one who needs to apologize.. I am sorry once again." He apologized. You shook your head.

"I forgive you." You said and hugged him tight. "I promise not to leave you alone anymore." He said and kissed your forehead. "Thank you, (M/N)." You said and smiled.
