Chapter - 7 : Crouching Lion, Hidden Tiger

Yo buddies! I'm so happy that my stories are read by more and more viewers. Don't worry because our boy Tyson will be more savage in the coming episodes. He might be a smartass to rival Kai. Kai's and rest of the Bladebreakers' fans - Don't worry. They will show their stuff soon as well.

Max's POV :

The mystery of Tyson is eating me alive. We are here in hotel eating after the beybattle between Tyson and Mariah. Tyson was back to his usual self eating like a pig. Without a hint of worry about the tournament, he was happy and cheerful. It was like he did a complete turn of 180°. During the battle with Mariah he was a different Tyson. Calm, cool, collected, confident and observant Tyson. I am still pondering about the fact how he observed Mariah's blade movements. It was like he observed the blade for years (Well it is true, duh! He is from the future.) It was a stroke of genius. He analysed the blade's movement in the blink of an eye. Mariah was totally manipulated from the start. Was Tyson always this smart? Who is Tyson? When we returned from the beybattle, Kai asked us about everything and Tyson handled it all. He wasn't even intimidated by the cold glares. He told how he and Mariah battled and it ended in a loss for us. I asked Tyson why he lied. Even Ray was curious. He gave a mysterious smirk and said "I'll answer you, later!". I glanced at Ray. He was also deep in thoughts. Poor guy! He lost his Bit-Beast.  But the battle showed us two things : First, Tyson is a mysterious blader, more than Kai.
Second, White Tigers are going to be more tough.
Let's hope for the best.

Ray's POV :

I practiced alot today. I've to get my Drigger back. Front tomorrow the main tournament starts. We've to be at our full power in order to defeat Lee and his team. He won't sit quiet about today defeat. They'll practice more and more until they are ready to crush us. The matches will be more tough than ever. Without my Bit-Beast I still think that I'll slow down my team. "Don't think about foolish things." A deep voice broke my train of thoughts. "Kai!" I asked. "If you believe in yourself and your Drigger, then he'll return." "Thanks!" I said to him sincerely. Meanwhile he was eyeing Tyson suspiciously. I don't blame him. Suddenly our Tyson changed. Even though he is still the same boy he has some wierd quirks. Like in today's battle how he outwitted Mariah. She is a nasty opponent. It isn't easy to do it. He observed her blade's movement in the blink of an eye. That isn't an easy feat. I still have alot to learn and it looks like it all starts with Tyson. I'll keep an eye on you Tyson.

Tyson's POV :

It is finally happening. We are changing the timeline a bit. Our future will be more tougher than the previous time. The opponents will be stronger than the previous timeline and we'll reach new heights. I've to increase the pace of our training. We cannot slack off. It'll be interesting. I was eating very happily. It is so nice to be back in timeline. But there was something wrong. Everyone was glancing at me. I coughed since I choked on my food. Chief quickly gave me water. "Geez Tyson! Get a hold on yourself. You are eating too much."
"I dunno. I'm very hungry." I gave my reassuring toothy grin. Everyone smiled at that except for Kai. From today onwards we'll do triple training Dragoon. I just hope that at last everything will be settled between Ray and White Tigers. They are the part of our beyblading family. My adrenaline is rushing. But I was sure that I could have felt the stares of my teammates. We all finished our dinner and went back to our room. There Kai explained that since I wasn't able to defeat Mariah, the power of the White Tigers are increasing at a high pace. Realization dawned upon Max and Ray as they realized why I lied.
Correct! After today's defeat White Tigers will improve more than ever. We couldn't have slacked off. If we would have been confident that we could have defeated them, then at the tournament we might have lost badly. Kai's training is savage. Adding Kai's training and Kenny's training my power will increase by leaps and bounds.
