"Paisley! Paisley! Come here! Come here, come here, come here!" His little sister Gracie yelled.

At this point, your probably wondering who the hell is Gracie, and who's her brother? his name isn't legitimately His is it? Patience is a virtue for a reason my dear friends. So I suggest you to use it.

"Gracie! I've missed you so much!" I said, running up to the 6 year old girl and spinning her around. She was wearing a pink ruffled one piece swim suit, her light hair braided into two French braids.
"Where is your brother?" I asked.
"He's inside with the other girls." Grace said with a disgusted look on her face.
" I think they wear to much face stuff. They look like my dollies. "
I laughed at her description of the girls as she lead me up to her front door. All of the sudden he ran out of the door looking around for somebody. Me.
I hadn't seen him for a year, and people can change a lot in a year. His hair was the same shade, a blond, almost brown color, but had become longer. It was almost covering his eyebrows, and the sides covering his ears. His eyes were a grayish blue color, but would turn bright blue whenever he had a strong feeling about something, mostly when he was mad. His body was well toned from playing football and running. He was wearing blue trunks, showing off his 6 pack. It was his 18th birthday party, and he was my bestest friend in the entire universe.
" Blake!" I yelled, running to him like he was going to give me a million dollars. When I got to him, he hugged me and lifted me up like I did to Gracie. We were both laughing our heads off. His voice was the most beautiful thing I'd ever heard. It may sound cliché, but its true. He set me down on the ground and hugged me tight. We had known each other since we were in diapers. He was a year older than me, but our parents had been friends throughout all their schooling, so our families were really close.
He then held me at arms length and looked me over.
" Lets see, your hair is still blonde, your still shorter than me, your eyes are same blue, you still don't wear makeup, not that you need to," he said with a smirk. I slapped his bicep.
" Hey!" he yelled. "That's a good thing!"
I laughed and said, " Can we just go get in the pool already? it's like a million degrees out here!"
" It's actually only 84 degrees but whatever." Blake said while leading me through the front door, through the house, stopping when we saw his mom.
"Paisley! I'm so glad you could come! We haven't seen you in forever!"
" I know! it's been a long time." I said. Blake pulled on my arm.
"We are going to be going now mom." Blake said.
" You go on ahead and have fun!" she yelled at our backs.
He lead me through the back door, and out onto the porch with 3 other girls and 2 other guys already out there. I noticed his arm was laced around my waist.
" Hey guys, this is Paisley. I've known her forever, and she used to be my neighbor before we moved."
All of the girls looked at me like I killed their puppies. Gracie was right about the makeup overload. They did realize that this was a pool party right? their faces were literally caked with makeup. They had Barbie doll bodies, with tiny bikini's that barely covered everything. Their fingernails and toes were all painted bright, neon colors. The only thing that was different about all of the girls was their hair, and the color they were wearing.

One of the girls had cherry red hair, with a fan bun in her hair, a black bandanna completing the hairstyle. She had on a black bikini with red polka dots. Her nails were painted a bright red.
The next girl had obviously dyed, platinum blond hair, and black eyebrows. Her hair was also in a fan bun, with a hot pink bandanna tied around her head. She was wearing a lime green swim suit with hot pink polka dots. Her nails were painted hot pink.
The last girl's hair was a mousy brown, also done into a fan bun, with a purple bandanna in her hair. She was wearing a blue bikini with purple polka dots. Her toes were painted the brightest purple I'd ever seen.

The two guys looked decent enough. One of the guys was on the heavier side, and was wearing a pair of Hawaiian flowered, orange trunks. He had black short hair, and had murky brown eyes.
The other guy was taller than Blake, and was skin and bones. He had short blond hair, and blue eyes. He had on blue and green plaid swim trunks.

"Paisley this is Grace," Blake pointed to the girl with the cherry red hair.
"Macy," he pointed to the girl in the like green suit.
"and Abbie." He pointed to the last girl with the blue bikini and the mousy brown hair.
I waved a little to the three of them but they ignored me.
"And last but not least, this is Gavin and Justin." Blake pointed first to the heavy set dude, then to the scarily skinny one.
"Hey guys." I said to them and smiled.
The girls were staring and me and giggling.
Why can't they just not be bitches for a couple hours and let me have some fun?
"Just ignore them." Blake whispered into my ear as he turned me around towards the tables where everybody's stuff was at.
"They're only here for Gavin and Justin." I looked at him and smiled.
"Thanks" I whispered back.
"What for?"
"Just being here." I said.
Blake quietly chuckled and said,
"Don't thank me for nothin' yet"
