"Mom, mom, come here"
I've been calling her for hours but she was ignoring me, typical day in the love household.
"Mom I really need you in here, I need help with this paper its due in a few hours"
"I'll be right there Mena" said mom "Be patient"
I couldn't take the way she treated me anymore she treated me like I was trash, like I was a nobody. It was sad but yet the truth, I prayed to God everyday to give me the strength to carry on and to give me patience.
-- a half hour later --
"what was it that you needed help with dear?" Said mom "I can't stay long, I have to get to sleep I've had a long day at work today"
"Nvm mom it's nothing, I'm almost done anyways, thanks thought"
I just sat in bed with my laptop as I say her walking away .. It was so sad how much hate I felt from the one who gave birth to me.
I closed my laptop, placed it under my pillow and cried myself to sleep
-- the next day --
"Wake up meme, wake up now. It's school time" yelled my younger sister Jessie
"I'm up I'm up , you just go get ready"
I got up and went to the washroom where my other four siblings were, it was so depressing using the washroom with them.
"Jessie why would you wake me up if you guys were all still in the washroom" I said as I brushed my teeth
She shrugged her shoulders.
I quickly finished up in the washroom and went to my room, put on a purple top and black jeans. and put my hair up in a ponytail.
"Good morning. mama, baba" I gave them both a kiss on their forehead and went to eat breakfast

As I arrived at school awaiting me was my two beautiful best friends, Sofia and Nina
"Omge did yall finish the paper last night? I heard we getting back today in class" said Sofia
" Guess not everyone handed it in if he was that quick to mark" I said
" I wasn't able to finish it" said Nina
"I was out with Dave last night, and I totally forgot" she said with a puppy dog face. Dave was Nina's boyfriend, it was her first so he was special.
" I thankfully finished mine" I said
" Me too" said Sofia
Both Sofia and I felt bad for Nina she was lacking her game because of Dave, being new to the dating life she found it very hard to juggle her school life and dating life all in one.
Nina all depressed about her unfinished assignment started walking to the parking lot Where her car was , to grab her school books just when a car was speeding so fast in the parking lot .......
* BOOOM
"NINAAAAAA , NINAAAA" I screamed as I raced over to the parking lot where Nina's helpless body lay
"SOFIA .. CALL ... 911 " I said as I wiped away my tears
I heard the ambulance in the background as they approached ciaboun Demerara Highschool ..
