"That will be 1,500 Moras, Mr. Alberich."
Mr. Alberich placed the money on the counter and gave him the paper bag with chocolate cookies inside in my left hand while his coffee was on my right. He carefully took it from me and smiled at me.
"Thank you, (Y/n). I hope she's fine with this. We both got on an argument last night, so I had to give her something to apologize."
I smiled at him. "I'm sure your Rosaria will love them. Good thing you came to this cafe because she loves our chocolate cookies here!" Kaeya beamed a smile as he quickly placed drop some money inside the bottle and gave me 1,000 Moras in front of me.
"That's for you, (Y/n). Please, take it. You have been working hard." After that, he left the cafe. I am so speechless. I controlled myself not to cry from what happened. I took a deep breath and put the money inside my pocket as I whispered.
"Thank you."

After I cleaned all the dishes, I went back to the counter to get some cookies and bread to take home because it was already 4 pm. I had to close the cafe before 5 pm. Of course, I paid before I took some of it. I spread the paper bag and put it inside as I closed it.
"I guess that's all. I have to check some stuff before I close this cafe and go home."
I finally locked the cafe after I checked the refrigerator and the pantries. I turned my heels to head at the bus stop. Hopefully, there's a bus waiting so I can hop on right away. I can walk home, but since I got enough money and my feet are a bit tired, I had to ride on a bus.
I got to the bus station, and unluckily, there was no bus waiting. I sighed. I sat in the waiting area and placed the paper bag on my lap, patiently and tiredly waiting for the bus to come. I pulled out my phone to check my notifications and messages. As expected, I got a message from Barbara.
Barbara: Hey, where are you right now? You'll miss the Princess Academy news, hurry up!
Me I'm waiting for the bus. Just watch it and tell me who is the lucky winner if I got home late?
Barbara: Pleaseee, can you just walk home?
Me No, I can't. My feet are hurting like hell right now.
Barbara: Aww man, I swear I'm gonna be hella sad if you didn't come at the right time :(
I was about to reply until the bus came. I held my paperback and stood up. I went inside the bus as I sat in the third row. Good thing there are only a few people because I'll be standing in the middle with my feet hurting me.
The bus started to move but stopped right away and it made me almost hit my head to the back seat in front of me. I looked up to see someone my age. He has brunette hair with dark orange highlights and a tied long strand resting on his right shoulder. He went to sit in front of me as he leaned his head to the window, resting.
