JAKE'S P.O.V:

I made the biggest mistake of my life. I let her/him/them go... because I was just scared. I love her/him/them so so much and I know that so why didn't I just say it back to her/him/them? that's my biggest mistake. it's just three words, what's the problem with me. 

I am stuck in traffic and I need to tell her/him/them I love her/him/them before she/he/they leave. she/he/they are going back home and I need to get to her/him/them before she/he/they leave. her/his/their flight leaves at 6:45 PM and it is currently 6:05 PM. I need to get there. 

the traffic started to move and I was able to get to the airport. I had a few minutes to spare but I needed to find her/him/them also in a huge airport. I jumped out of the cab and ran into the airport, weaving and dodging many people who was arriving and leaving the airport. 

I ran through that airport and got to the gates of the airport, looking around to each gate to see if she/he/they were sitting there somewhere. I was losing stamina quickly but I had to find her/him/them so I kept myself going. 

I ran through all of the gates and couldn't find her/him/them, until I saw a similar suit case to hers/his/theirs cut the corner, the same keychain on the zipper and everything. it was her. 

I ran through the halls and tried to catch up to her/him/them until I yelled her/his/their name and she/he/they turned around, it was really her/him/them. it felt like time stopped, each of us standing on either side of the hallway looking at each other in disbelief. 

"jake? what are you doing here?" she/he/they broke the trance as she/he/they walked over to me, a bit of anger displayed on her/his/their face. 

"I had to talk to you before you left" I replied with a lack of breath from running. 

"well what do you have to say? I have to go" y/n said quickly. 

"i'm so sorry. i don't know why i didn't tell you i love you because I do. I really do." I said, finally confessing a feeling I have been holding in for too long. 

"you think you love me?" y/n asked. 

"no, I know I love you" I said back which made y/n's face brighten. y/n stood there without saying anything. she was shocked to hear what I had to say and I understood why. 

"please, say you love me" I said anxiously. I need her/him/them back. she/he/they have to still love me. 

"jake-" y/n said but was cut off by a voice over the speaker that said her/his/their flight was leaving soon. 

"y/n, I know you have to leave but just make sure you-" I was cut off by y/n's lips on mine, shutting me up. I relaxed into the kiss and felt at ease. I kissed back, putting all of my emotions into the kiss. my love is back with me. she/he/they were mine again. 

"I love you too stupid. I have to go but I'll call you when I get home okay?" y/n said which made me laugh. I nodded my head with the biggest smile on my face. she/he/they hugged me one last time before she/he/they left, the last time I will feel her/his/their warmth for a while. she/he/they let go and waved goodbye to me. 

I walked out of the airport with the biggest confidence boost I've had in a while. 

suggestion section : this is my first time doing something like this so feel free to give me feedback so i can write better next time. i will also be adding in imagines here and there but to let you know, i have trouble finishing imagines so they won't be as frequent as the reactions and such. 

ALSO i still want to do the other majority that people picked which was the most likely to and the q and a about myself. 

i will probably do the q and a first so feel free to send me questions you are curious about, advice maybe that you might want (i am basically an adult now so i have a lot of experience with you know, life) so don't be shy to send questions and ask me whatever you want :))
