Wendy's POV
"I'm pretty? Get out of here." Dipper shouldn't say that just to make me feel better. I know I'm not pretty and compared to that girl he's with earlier, I have absolutely no chance.
"I'm serious Wendy. You are pretty, beautiful even."
"But-" I tried to argue further but he cut me off.
"For now, no more talk. Come and meet my friend." Then he forced me to go to that girl by pushing me. I don't see why's that necessary because I can walk.
"I don't know if I- Oh, okay." I can't disagree with him anymore because I'm already standing in front of the girl.
"Hey Pacifica, I'm back."
"Hey Dips!" Then she hugged him again. Wow, this girl is really something. Hugging him once is quite enough, but twice is already killing me inside. She's going to be toast if she hugs him again, especially when she does that right in front of my face.
"Well, that Dips is my boyfriend so back off, he's mine." I spat.
"Whoa! Didn't saw that coming. What's your name?"
"So wait, you don't like like Dipper?" I asked, confused since the hugging and such was for what?
"We just for crying out loud and I rather not interfere on your relationship." She is totally respectful and actually the opposite of what personality I was expecting towards her.
"For a minute there, I judged you by your looks. Totally sorry there." I think I embarrassed myself. I shouldn't just judged her by her looks and just on the thought of that, it sounds wrong. It is wrong and sickening.
"It's okay. I get that a lot. And yeah I kind of looked- no I am a posh person but I don't act like one." And see, on the tone of her voice, she's actually the opposite of what I was expecting. She's more of a shy or a wallflower type.
"I'm super sorry, again." I bowed my head slightly and apologized.
"It's okay. I still don't know your name though."
"Oh, the name's Wendy Corduroy." I offered my hand and she gladly shaked it.
"Pacifica Northwest."
"Oh and Pacifica, I think we just have to hang out some other time because me and Wendy have a lot to talk about, you know like a private talk."
"S-Sure I-I just leave you two here. Bye guys." She leaves with such shyness and she's looking at the ground while saying.
"Bye Pacifica." Me and Dipper said, simultaneously. And then she was gone, already at her home, leaving me and Dipper alone.
"So.." I managed to start a conversation.
"Did you came here to see me? If you did, you're a sweet girlfriend." But if I came here for a different purpose, am I not a sweet girlfriend?
"If not? Because I came here for a different reason. To go to school again, here at Piedmont."
"Really? That's great. And by the way, you're still sweet." I think I disagree with him again. I never even bothered to ask where he lives, how should I be called sweet if I didn't even care what is his favorite food, color, artist. I didn't even care about the things I should consider knowing and that guarantees it. I am not sweet. Not at all.
"No." I argued.
"Yes." But he kept saying.
"No--" I was still trying to argue but he cut me off once again by putting a finger on my lips to shush me.
"--More argruing. Do you trust your boyfriend?" He continued my last word to the thought of his. That made me speechless so I just nodded. He's just really sweet for a thirteen year old.
"Then trust me when I said your beautiful and sweet because you are." That made me smile from ear to ear. I know I'm not pretty but he sure treats me like one. That made me boost my self-esteem.
"Remember when you said our love was just for the summer. Summer Love to call it."
"Yeah. I remember."
"Since you finally met me again, you can't call it a Summer Love anymore."
"What should it be called then." I asked.
"Destined. We are destined." He said with no pause of thought. He said with no pure hesitation.
"W-Why?"
"Because it was an accident when I first saw you at the Mystery Shack, it was a coincidence that I became your friend but the third time is destined. That's when you loved me as much as I did and when I left, you came back." Wow. It is fate that brought us together. And I think school was just destiny's part of the plan because hey, I'm here with him and I haven't even planned that. Destiny did.
"You think it's still a coincidence that you came in Piedmont in all of the places here in the world?" He joked.
"I think not." I laughed and replied.
"Uhm..Thanks for the talk. I should really be going now." It's not like I'm leaving him again, it's just that I just need to find a place to stay. And I think that will take ages so no need to get all comfy cozy because I need to find a place, for the shortest time that I could.
"W-Where are you going?"
"To find a place to stay. I still don't have a temporary home, yet. Still haven't rented one."
"I know a place." The smirk on his face is fairly visible. Then he pointed out at his house. Will I really stay on their house?
