I've been in the hospital for 2 days now the doctors said I'm going to be here for 2 weeks
When they told me I couldn't have kids I was low key sad bc even the it's ftk I wanted the possibility of being able to having kids
Whoever shot me took that away from me so when I get out of here someone's dying
Even though souls still mad at me she still helps me out with everything since I can't walk well and I have pain in my stomach too
I'm also having my surgery for my arm today I'm a little nervous but I'll be fine
Right now I was watching tv waiting for the doctors to take me to surgery I'm hungrier then a mf
They gave us a bigger room since there was so many of us so the guys brought the game for me to watch Netflix on
"Soul?" I said she looked up at from the chair beside my bed "can we talk? You know about what happen" "ok let's talk" she said
" um when I seen the car slowing down I wasn't really thinking bout me I just needed to protect you yes bc Kai needs you but also bc your my best friend the person who I tell almost everything the person who is on my mind when I wake up so when I jumped in front of you I was so angry that someone was tryna hurt you that I started shooting back I think I hit one of them I'm not sure anyways when I was laying there I was thinking this is really the end for me but I noticed that it was ok bc I can be with my momma" I said as she wiped my tears
"What happen to your momma?" She ask getting up to sit in the bed with me being careful
"When I was 13 me and my momma were In the grocery store getting some stuff when we were leaving this car pulled up shot my mom and they hit me in the head I ended up passing out it was night time so there wasn't many people out, when I woke up I was laying on the ground blood coming out from where they hit my head and my mom was gone I looked on the ground and found my moms purse so I grabbed her car keys and phone I called my dad crying telling him what Happen he told me he was coming and to go wait in the car which I did after the incident they couldn't find my mom so I slipped into depression bc I thought it was my fault that she was gone bc I begged her to go to the grocery store to get some food and candy" I said laying my head on her chest
"Mamas I'm so sorry that happen and it's not your fault you didn't shoot her and you didn't kidnap her so you didn't do anything wrong also I was so mad when you jumped in front of me bc I'm so suppose to protect you and I didn't you put yourself in harms way for me no ones done that for me I was confused on why you did it and don't say you have no one or nothing to live for bc Kai needs you your the only one who can sooth him when he cries your dad needs you your his only child he don't wanna loose you tae needs you he feels guilty for letting you go to the trap that day niana needs you your her only sister well only sister she likes spazz and Mario need they lil sis too and I need you I haven't smiled in so long till I met you you brought light into my darkness you can't leave me" she said
"I'm sorry" I whispered "I'm sorry too" she said kissing my forehead
2 hours later
Everyone ended coming to the hospital bc I was about to go in surgery
"You ready sweetheart?" My doctor said walking in the room I nodded "any questions from the family?" She said looking around the room
"Uh yes how long is the surgery " my dad said "about hour and thirty mins if all goes smoothly" she responded "what are the risk and how longs the recovery time?" Soul asked
"The risk are she might not get full feeling back but the damage to her arm is not a lot so she will most like get full function back and her recovery time should be a little less then a month" the doctor said calling the nurses to take me to or
Y'all I watched greys anatomy but I don't know what the hell im saying so if it don't make sense smile and nod- miss author
Everyone gave me hugs and my dad kissed my forehead soul walks over to me kissed my cheek and then my lips I just sat there in a trance before smiling
"Damn you face must hurt smiling that hard really lookin like chucky" Mario said making me flip him off and making everyone laugh
Taking me to the OR they put something in my iv and it all went blank
SOULS POV
They just took her to surgery so we're now all waiting in the room
"Y'all notice how neveah hasn't called once" Mario said "she movin on some snake shi she went off the grid" spazz said
"How long y'all knew this neveah girl" reaper (nanas dad) asked "about 2 years" niana said "She always gave me weird vibes I don't fuck wit her at all" I said
"She gave me head one time and then tried to plant a baby on me she wasn't really pregnant tho" Mario said "hol on when this happened why we ain't know" niana said she seemed jealous Mario shrugged
"We gon find her ass and give her hell she prolly shot nana" I said getting mad
1 hour 30 mins later
The doctor comes into the room "she's doing well their bringing her in know she's going to get full feeling back into her arm now we just got to wait for her stomach to heal a little more and she can go home" the doc said smiling
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding "thank you" reaper said shaking her hand she nodded walking away
"Hey nana" niana said "you ok?" She asked "mmhm just a lil pain I'm ok tho" nana said
"Come lay down" nana said to me I get into bed rubbing her back "we finna go get food" spazz said and they all left leaving me and nana
"Y'all know who shot me?" She asked "we think neveah and some associates we don't know yet" I said she nodded
"Soul?" She said in a sleepy voice lifting her head off me "mylai" I said "huh" "my name is mylai not soul" "ok mylai can you help me to the bathroom" she said tryna get up
I wrapped one are around my shoulder holding her waist "You ok?" I asked looking at her she was crying "mmhm it just hurts" she said
We got to bathroom she did what she had to do we went back to the bed putting on a movie
Everyone came back so now we're eating and watching a movie night
I started drifting off to sleep "goodnight mylai" nana whispered kissing my lips her lips soft asl "goodnight princess" I said kissing her lips
