He walked towards the sofa and sat down scurriedly. " what happened jungkook? where were you from that time. I called and messaged you so many times. what were you doing? " y/n bombarded him with her questions. He didn't reply, he kept on looking at the flower vase beside the table. He was astonished with something. y/n handed him a glass of cold water. He gulped it down hurriedly. At the mean time, Jimin and namjoon came looking for jungkook.
"jungkook are you okay?" jimin asked anxiously. Watching him not replying namjoon patted his back softly. " what happened jungkook, is something bothering you? You look frightened." "jungkook please tell me what happened i am worried" y/n wined desperately.
"You all won't believe what happened with me just now!" He said in distressed. " what happened appa? " Jeongsan asked curiously.
Flashback
Jungkook pov
That dark night, as I was returning from office, I heard footsteps behind me. At first I ignored them thinking they belonged to another lonely person like me, hurrying to get home. I thought of the warm fireside and y/n waiting for me with a hot dinner.
Suddenly, my foot knocked against a large stone and I tripped. My bag fell on the road and I found myself sprawled face downwards. Cursing my clumsiness, I stumbled to my feet and rubbed my knees. As I bent to pick up my bag I suddenly realized that there was no sound behind me. My car engine went down due to downpour. It was raining heavily, i couldn't do anything, our House was near , so I decided to walk. I already had my umbrella with me. The roads were muddy and full of water. Soon dark clouds gathered in the sky. There were dazzling flashes of lightning. Suddenly it started raining much more heavier than before. At that time it was difficult to walk or drive on them, so i took out my umbrella and walked on the lane towards my house.
Suddenly at the opposite road, i saw a lady with a black umbrella above her. I was afraid at first and tried to hide my face in the umbrella and walk away , but i thought maybe she needs help. She was a tall woman. I remember her head almost touching the tree, Her long hair length were waving in the wind. She was standing on the sidewalk. I couldn't make out exactly what she was doing. She was wearing a white hanbok , her hair was all over the place, she had black, dark and thick hair. She was holding a black umbrella with her tightly.

Jungkook conflicted with himself , if he should help her not , and the end he went towards her. She wasn't moving at all , standing like a statue . He slowly and hesitantly asked her " e.. excuse m..me ma'am. w..why are you s... standing here alone at this h..hour". It's raining heavily you might struck with lighting, do you need help?He shuttered a little . She smiled and replied calmly ."Actually I am lost, i was searching for yeontan society". "Yeontan society? ma'am that's too far, this is bangtan society. yeontan society is in the east, you are literally standing in west. It's a whole different area, it's too late and rain is pouring heavily, I think you should book a cab, i don't think you will find any taxi nearby at this hour". Jungkook adviced her. Suddenly she started laughing maniacaly "Don't worry i will go there within some seconds". heh what? how?" Jungkook asked in confusion. " like this" she respond with a laughter and hit jungkook with her umbrella. Jungkook fell down on the lane. As soon as he looked up no one was there. She vanished into thin air. There were white smoke all around him. He coughed hard, jungkook was scared now. Where did she went away, who was she . I looked back but there was only the long stretch of road. No living being was in sight. I was not far from home. Already, I could see the light of the front porch. Imagine my horror, therefore, that as soon as I started walking I heard the footsteps again. I couldn't believe my ears and I began to feel really and truly scared. Every horror story I had ever read, swam before my eyes and my hair stood on end. A shiver ran down my spine and I began to run. Too terror-stricken to look back, my only thought was to reach my house to y/n and jeongsan arms safely.
