Kayleigh's POV
I wake up screaming my head off. My heart was racing a mile a minute. The darkness of room soon glowed with the brightness of the hallway light.
"Hey! Is everything alright?" The blonde figure comes in, flipping on the switch.
"Y-yeah. Just a nightmare. Again." I panted.
"Still? Come on Kay, try your best to forget it. Everything will be alright." He cooed.
"Thanks." I smiled groggily then laid back down on the bed.
"Get some rest." Those were his last words before he left the room, closing the door.
Lately, I had been having nightmares. Ever since our missions started. The aliens had returned to Manhattan and we had to defend the city. By 'we', I meant the Avengers and Avengers2. The Avengers2 consists of me, Kayleigh Rogers, Jakob Stark, Allison Westfield, and Cosmo. Cosmo isn't around much. He shows up whenever there is trouble. He spends most of his time in Asgard with his father, Thor. It's pretty cool being off-springs of the Avengers. My parents are pretty cool. Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff, soon to be Rogers. They had me about seventeen years ago, going on eighteen in a few weeks. Honestly, I don't see why they didn't get married. But in a few months they will be. I'm literally so psyched.
I rolled over groggily the next day, hissing at the sunlight that shone brightly through my window. I checked the clock beside my bed. It read 2:30. Holy shit, I slept in late. I continued sleeping, wondering if anyone would wake me up. Just then a banging broke the silence in my room.
"Kayleigh Morgan Rogers. Wake up, you're late." A voice bellowed from the other side.
"Five more minutes." I whined.
"Don't make me come in there." Another voice said. It was feminine and sounded like.. my mother.
"I'm awake!! Getting dressed now." I shouted and jumped up, scrambling out of my bed then onto my feet.
I had only been living in the Stark Tower for nearly three years now. It still had me confused. The technology was literally high-tech. Even the toilet!! I freshened up quickly then slid to my closet. Without hesitation, I grabbed a pair of high-waisted jeans and my Riddler sweater. I stumbled to the door as I put on my socks and shoes before sliding it open.
"Good morn- afternoon." I stuttered.
"Come on. You've got lessons with Banner and Stark." Natasha said before walking off to the meeting room.
"Hurry up, kiddo." Steve hurried me out before following Natasha.
"Afternoon Sleeping Beauty." Jakob whispered as we passed each other. A smirk plastered across his face.
"Whatever Duke of Dorkness." I murmured and jogged to the Tech room where I found a geeky Banner and a bore Stark.
"How ya doing, fellas?" I asked awkwardly, walking in.
"Sit." Banner said without looking up.
Immediately, I went to swivel chair and plopped down in it. Tony went over and closed the door, along with the blinds. I thought I was going die today.
"Am I in trouble? I'm sorry. I had another nightmare last night." I blurted out.
"You aren't. Blondie told us everything." Tony said, referring to his son.
"Let's get started." Bruce smiled at me and placed a case on the table.
"Is that the Tesseract?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
