I've always been told not to date, they'd always end up leaving (words of my mother.) I remember one time where she told me at the age of six "Sevryn you gotta watch what you do with men. they can use it against you." she said in a very deep voice.

At the age of fourteen i could see the relief on her face when i cam out as Bisexual. Mom tried to get me to date girls one time she said "You can't ruin your life anymore than it already is by having sex with a female." i didn't talk to her for two weeks because i was so uncomfortable with the words she used.

For God's sake i was fourteen. what fourteen year old wanted to hear their mother say that. not anyone i tell you.

Mom told me a lot of things that stuck with me. mom was so scared that I'd end up like her sixteen and pregnant. now I don't shame people who want to be pregnant at that young of an age because lets be serious not all people plan on getting pregnant that young.

But im now 17 and mom still tells me how to live my life. its better than her telling me how much i need to focus on my school work or after school activities. Because she can't, why? because im a very smart girl who mostly cares about having a nice life.

I wasn't worried about boys or dating. I mean don't get me wrong i wanted to have someone to love but the boys here are either fuck boys, jackasses or just weird in general. And the girls, don't get me started on them. they couldn't keep their legs close for the time of day. about 60% of them have boyfriends, 35% were weird right along with the boys and the rest of the 5% had aids.

And aids are not something i wanted or needed. You can miss me with that.
