I also just love how Sanemi used his umbrella for the puppies so Giyu was like, "Oh. I'll just use my umbrella for you then. I wouldn't want you to get sick."

How I basically thought it went

Sanemi was walking through the rain with his umbrella when suddenly he heard barks coming from around him. Curious, he went to take a look at what it was.

When arriving, he saw a cardboard box with what looked to be three abandoned puppies, sitting out in the cold rain.

He felt something in his chest. It felt like it was pulling him towards the poor puppies, it was almost like the thing in his chest wanted him to help them.

He complied with the feeling in his chest as he went towards the puppies. The puppies hearing footsteps, perked up out of the box and wagged their tails, thinking they were going to have a new friend to play with.

It seemed like they didn't really mind the rain? Well, they were probably too excited to care right now. Sanemi unconsciously smiled, amused by how happy the puppies were to see him.

The feeling in Sanemi's chest didn't go away as he walked closer to them, it actually got stronger. Without Sanemi even knowing, he moved his umbrella to carefully cover the puppies, protecting them from the cold rain that didn't seem like stopping anytime soon.

He snapped out of it when he felt the rain start to hit him, making him realize what he did. Then he suddenly got confused...the feeling. It..went away? Strange. Was it kindness? The feeling of needing to help someone? Hm.. He wasn't sure what the feeling was but I guess he won't have to worry about it anymore.

Sanemi took a closer look at them. He smiled more as the puppies seemed to get more happy with being covered up. It seemed like Sanemi didn't even care that he was starting to shake from the cold rain hitting him. He was just happy that the puppies were covered up and still seemed to be energetic.

Little did he know...a figure was watching this happen.

It was Giyuu.

Giyuu looked at him with fascination. He... wasn't angry? He was smiling? This was certainly odd to the "emotionless" pillar.

Despite this, he walked up to him. Sanemi didn't seem to notice his presence, but the puppies certainly did. They started barking and wagging their tails once again, seeing a new friend.

Giyuu kept his "poker face" on as he walked closer.

Sanemi, seeing the dogs turn their direction, looked the way they were barking. Seeing Giyu suddenly made him jump a bit, not expecting to see the water Pillar out in the rain, and definitely not walking up to him.

Giyuu continued despite Sanemi noticing his presence, and without much thought he held his umbrella above Sanemi, as if to..protect him from the cold rain.

Yes, Giyuu had noticed Sanemi slightly shaking. After all, he was in the cold rain, and his umbrella wasn't covering him.

So Giyuu, as once stated, held his umbrella above Sanemi.

Sanemi was...most definitely confused. 'What the hell is he doing?' he thought. Well..It wasn't like he was going to complain. It felt nice. Usually he'd get angry and yell at whoever it was, saying that he can take care of himself and stuff. But...he didn't stop Giyuu. He didn't get angry. He didn't...lash out.
