As I walked away from the empress's palace, I felt a warm feeling inside my chest. The young boys that I had taken care of were now men. Much taller and refined princes.

"Oh dear, they all looked like their mother, not a single one of them managed to obtain their father's color" I muttered to myself, of course, it would be a problem of them lacking in the king's features but I suppose it does not really matter.

"Nanny! You're finally here!"

I looked up to see Jacob, Jose and their mother, Queen Syris.

"Hm, yes. Did you just come from the empress palace?" She asked.

"Yes, the empress had me take care of something in her palace" I lied, if I told her that I met the princes, she might pressure me to tell their faces.

Her ice cold eyes stared down at me in suspicion before waving me off. "If you say so" she said as her two sons jogged to my side. "Now lead them to the queen mother, I suppose you know where my daughter is, nanny?" She stated, not even asking. Her dark blue fitted dress always looked magnificent on her stature. The way it sprawled beneath her feet made her look like a tru madame.

I nodded in agreement. "Yes, your majesty" I replied, hearing her open her fan abruptly. The sounds of her jewels were really showing off her status as a queen.

"Good, now I shall go" her long black hair whipped past us as she walked past. The sounds of heels hitting the marble floor filled the hall before she entered her room quietly.

As the door closed, I turned to the two young princes. "Let us fetch your older sister, ok?" I smiled at the two, bending down.

Jacob grins while the two of them nodded.

"Good, let's go now" I held their hands, walking to the library.

Josephine is Queen Syris's eldest daughter, despite their mother having a unique jet black hair, she had a mixed color of the king and queen's. Instead of white or black, it turned slightly gray.

Her body is also far from her mother who had an hourglass figure, the princess was petite. Just like her brothers whom were too weak to study too much sword lessons.

Droopy black eyes and a pale complexion, she looked like a ghost to the children hence she's being avoided by most. Mostly due to her silent nature and weird tastes, she had been seen as an outsider to some, it was a relief when the crown Princess Aira and her second eldest Princess Charlotte decided to include her into their group.

"Princess Josephine, it's nanny" I called out, knocking on Princess Aira's room, knowing that the three princesses were always in the crown princess's room.

The door opened, revealing Aira with her violet colored off-shoulder gown and Charlotte in a black fitted dress that hugged her neck yet exposed her arms.

"Greetings, Princess Aira and Princess Charlotte, perhaps, is Princess Josephine here?" I asked the two while Jacob and Jose stood behind me.

Aira smiled at me and nodded. "Of course, Nanny. I'll walk her out" she told me, she always had this sort of an airy voice.

I bowed my head. "Thank you, your majesty"

"Don't mention it"

The door closes and the bed creaking was heard, followed by the rustle of the Princesses' clothes filled the room. Waiting here along with the two young princes, I sighed inwardly. "Jacob and Jose must feel nervous of  Princess Aira"

Princess Aira is the crown Princess, the same age as Haruto. Her existence itself was a mystery, yes she is born by her mother, Queen Jannett but the air she gave off was suffocating. She isn't hostile nor harmed anyone, but the look in her dull blue eyes always made my skein crawl, I couldn't help but think of Queen Jannet whenever I had some sort of interaction with her.

Perfect, that was Princess Aira's embodiment. A perfect Princess, but the fact that the king had yet to marry her off despite having her engaged for almost 10 years really surprised everyone.

Her fiancé is the duke of the south, a far away mansion form the capital. A high standing man with an illegitimate child on the side, everyone opposed to the proposal but the king surprisingly agreed to it and that's how the Princess Aira got engaged. It seems that the duke already had a child, he didn't seem worried about marrying so quickly into the imperial family, he had nothing to lose but the proposal after all.

One of the one who strongly opposed to the marriage was Princess Aira's mother herself. Queen Jannett.

I glanced to the painting on the wall beside the Princess's room. A portrait of a woman was placed, soft yellow blonde hair and round blue eyes stared back at me, Queen Jannett had never been seen after she and the king had an argument about her pushing the weak queen mother off the stairs.

She was supposed to be worthy of beheading but since she's the queen and the daughter of one of the king's highest allies, he had refrained fro, doing such actions.

Catching my attention was the door that had finally opened.

"Here you go, Nanny" Charlotte nudged Josephine out the door.

"See you later, sister" Aira smiled softly at Josephine, her white hair was blinding against the sun. An angel in a cloud. "Remember, come here after meeting the queen mother, ok?" She smiled sweetly tilting her head.

Josephine nodded at her, bowing slightly. "Of course, older sister"

"Good, now Charlotte, say your goodbyes before they leave" Aira announced, walking off in her room.

Charlotte stared at Josephine, "See ya later I guess" she shrugged before closing the door.

The atmosphere turned silent after that, I turned to the Princess. "Shall we go now your highness?" I asked.

Princess Josephine's slightly curly hair really looked good on her yet despite being having the beauty of a goddess, the vibe she gave off was completely different.

"Yes"
