Manhattan, New York.NY,

My love for music started when I was just young. But up until I was eighteen, I didn't understand people's love for concerts. For the past four years now, me and my friends have visited hundreds of different concerts. Some big, while some small. Even if we didn't know the lyrics, we just went for the music.

Right when I turned eighteen, I got tickets to see Justin Bieber for my birthday present.

That was my first concert.

And until now, the last concert I went to was held a week ago at some small venue. I don't remember the name of the band, but it was a type of food. I remember that only because the name made me laugh.

But I totally understand, if I had a band, I'd name it some type of food too. Maybe a cheese like the pepper jacks, or the Cheddars. That way I can show my love and support for the dairy.

The next concert I will be at, will be in three days. And that certain concert will be starring the one and only Harry Styles.

and that's where the beginning of this story begins...

Today is some random Friday in august.

I drag my foot up the deep and lengthy stairs of Olivias apartment.

for being in Manhattan, her huge apartment (and cheap, might I add) makes up for the deadly steps.

I try to do my routine of counting the steps, but I always lose track and have to start over. In fact, the most steps I've counted was fifty four.

And today must not be my lucky day, because I lose count at step twenty seven.

Once I reach the top, the door bursts open with a gleaming Olivia. And a focused Amanda sat in the back.

"Yes! You're finally here. We were just getting the glitter out" that's the first thing I hear come out of livs mouth. What an introduction.

and did I hear glitter?

I step inside to her warm apartment, and shut the heavy door behind me.

The apartment is filled with music that I can only guess is the man himself.

"You're going to get tired of his music before you even get to the concert" I add to the empty conversation between the two.

"we want to make sure we don't mess the lyrics up." Amanda says before rolling her eyes. while Olivia adds, "So, what's your outfit for the night Sierra?"

"this" that's all I have to say for two shocked looks to glare my way.

"uh. no, I'm not letting you wear that" I'm so glad to have a supportive friend like Amanda. She really does lift my fashion skills up.

I look down at my loose t-shirt, now that I pay attention, I can see a stain on the front under the rip.

it adds detail, what can I say

"Guys, this is what I always wear to concerts."

today is the day we have been waiting for, since I got the tickets about 3 months ago. I don't know a ton of his music, but the few I know, I do enjoy. Plus, my friends are huge fans and it would be a crime if I gave up the opportunity to buy tickets for how cheap they were.

"No, Amandas right. You look cute, but I would be a terrible friend to let you out like that.."

Ok scratch that, I have TWO amazing, and supportive best friends.

"Don't worry, well fix you up babe"

it's been 30 minutes since then, and when they said "fix" I dint think it meant taking apart my whole face.
