It had seem time wasn't on his side, Koin was growing impatient from not getting any information about the mission. He was about to get out of his bed when he heard a knock on his door "Come in" said Koin clearing his throat.
The door opens to reveal Deidara and Sasori, Koin looks at the two before realizing that Akumu wasn't with them "Where is Akumu?" he asked, his voice filled with venom as he looked at the two. The two shiver at his voice causing Sasori to push Deidara in front making him turn his head to Sasori and glare at him "She tried to attack me, tried to stop me from taking Gaara" he explained turning his head back to Koin "What?! You must be lying!! Akumu would do no such thing!!" he yells, causing Deidara and Sasori to jump "I am not lying Koin-sama, she fought beside Gaara" explained Deidara. Koin glared at the two with pure rage causing a shiver to go down both their spines again.

"Akumu would never do such a thing, she would never betray the Akatsuki! she would never betray me!!" he yells in anger, the two didn't answer and stayed silent "And what about Gaara? Did you manage to succeed on that?" asked Koin, raising a brow. Deidara gulped in fear, he knew if he didn't answer soon Koin might kill him "Y-yes Koin-sama, we managed to succeed in capturing him, fought pretty well also, mmh" said Deidara with a smirk "Good, as long as we have him, everything will still go as plan" said Koin. It was silent for a moment, the purplish-black aura was still around Koin like flames "What about Akumu, Koin-sama? She'll send ninjas to our hideout to rescue Gaara and destroy us" said Sasori.
Koin looks at Sasori "I won't let that happen, I'll take care of her myself" Koin gets out of bed and get ready to leave "But Koin-sama, your father has told you to rest, let us handle her" said Deidara but before he could continue his sentence, Koin beat him to it "No, I'll take care of it myself and that is final, I don't want to hear any objection from the both of you, now leave" said Koin almost raising his voice.
Deidara and Sasori wanted to say something but kept their mouths shut instead and left the room. Koin turns his back to the door as he starts to fiddle with a ring on his ring finger.

He looks at the ring, all of his anger disappearing from him once he saw the ring. He couldn't remember where he got the ring or how he got it but he always kept it on, something inside him would stop him when he would try to remove the ring and whenever he looked at the ring, it always made him feel calm. He heard the door open and he quickly turned his head to see Itachi walking in and closing the door behind him.
"Deidara and Sasori told me what you were going to do" said Itachi in his calm voice, Koin glares at him "Tch, I'll kill those two" said Koin as he grabs his mask and looks at Itachi who was still standing in front of the door "If you are going to try to stop me I won't hesitate Itachi-nii" said Koin putting his mask on "No, I will not stop you, I just came here to tell you to be careful, you will be going out there without a partner by your side" said Itachi. Koin looks at him before looking down. "I understand you are worried, Itachi-nii, but I'm not a child anymore, I can take care of myself" said Koin. Itachi didn't say anything but nodded his head and moved to the side to let Koin go "Thank you Itachi-nii" said Koin before leaving the room.
