______________________________________________________Echo:
You decided that you and Echo would hang out in your personal quarters after your shift was over. You were tending to another soldiers wounds when the one who kept flirting with you walked in. You rolled your eyes as you continued to wrap bandages around the troopers wound. You finished your task and set the roll of gauze on the medical tray next to you.
"Thank you." said the bedridden trooper.
"No problem, just don't move around too much." You said smiling.
"Will do, doc."
He gave you a mock salute before you walked away to see what this persons problem was. Your smile disappeared as you slowly approached said trooper, not wanting to deal with him.
"What do you want?" You asked, slightly annoyed.
"I was thinking me and you could go out tonight." He attempted.
"Nayc, gedet'ye. I already have plans with someone else."
"Oh, yeah? And who would that be?"
As if right on cue, Echo walked in the room to visit you. You sighed in relief internally when he arrived.
"Ah, Echo, I was just about to mention you." You spoke up.
He looked at you confused between you and this other guy.
'Help me, please.' You thought to him.
'Don't worry, I'll handle this.' He thought back and said, "Sorry, vod, but she's already going out with me."
Echo walked over to you and wrapped his non prosthetic arm around your waist, pulling you close to him. You smiled as you hugged him, shocking the trooper in front of you. He tried to keep his composure but failed as he displayed a shaken expression on his face.
"Well, I asked her way before you did, so back off." He said, almost snapping.
"Ni ne'mirdi bid because this lovely lady is my soulmate." Echo said calmly.
"Tch, you don't have any proof."
"Oh, but I do. Me'vaar ti gar, cyar'ika?" He turned to you.
"Ori'jate, vor entye!" You replied.
The trooper in front of you two became more shocked and slightly intimidated. You laughed lightly and figured he wouldn't talk to you for a while upon discovering this new information. He quickly turned around and walked out, going back to where he came from.
"Vor'e, Echo!" You exclaimed, hugging him.
"Ni trikari gar ru'pare." He said.
"It's okay, you got here in time."
"Who was he anyway?"
"Oh, he was my patient awhile back and kept trying to flirt with me, but failed miserably."
"What made you think so?"
"I told myself that I'd let my soulmate be the only one to swoon me."
"Well, you thought right."
With that, he led you near an empty medical bed and pulled the curtain for some privacy. He turned to you and held his hand up to gently hold your chin.
"Tion'duu ni?" He whispered.
"Elek." You simply said.
He took no time and immediately captured your lips in a kiss full of ecstasy. A rush of energy flowed through you and you kissed back, wrapping your arms around his neck. It didn't last long though because your supervisor called you. You pulled away and took steady breaths, slowly regaining air.
