Goodbye

 " I hereby bid farewell to our lovely Miss y/n y/l/n. It was an honor having you here with us, here, at Hogwarts." announced Dumbledore 

 It's my last day at Hogwarts, my parents are aurors and their location had just been shifted to New Orleans since there had been reports of dark magic going on there. 

 I nodded to Dumbledore in acknowledgement and headed to the Slytherin common room to pick my trunk. There was only ten minutes till the Hogwarts Express arrived. 

 As I stand at the Hogsmeade station, waiting for the train, I feel someone tap my shoulder and I turn around.

 "Hey!" says Draco, looking nervous

 "Hey, what are you doing here? You're supposed to be in the great hall?" I ask him.

 " I-I just wanted to s-say" he stammers, staring down at his feet. 

"Yes?" I say, the curiosity evident in my voice.

 He takes a deep breath, and looks up, allowing me to look at his icy eyes. 

" I love you, y/n"

 " I love you too, Draco" I reply, heaving my trunk up and getting onto the train that just arrived. 

"I always have and I always will" I say, the tears brimming my eyes, threatening to fall. 

"But this is goodbye" I mumble, my voice cracking, as the train starts moving, and I leave my first love, Draco Malfoy.
