Alexander aimed his gaze upon the grass field surrounded by walls and buildings of medieval designs, getting a grasp of the current situation at his best.
He, as usual, carried his Colt revolver and cutlass to the traning field, where his mentor, Mr. Baker, was waiting for him. The old gun-and-sword wielding veteran who served Alex's father in the second civil war has now become Alex's tutor, teachnig him the same skill and style he once used upon the greedy coroprations and their collaborators.
However, along the corridor Alex usually went through, shine a green light. Alexander deemed it harmless with his instinct and attempt to walk past the light, which puled him into the source of the light as Alex get close.
"A nobleman should not let his emotion control his decision." Was the words of the president said to his son.
Alex slowly turned his body and his face to the pink-haired young girl standing next to him, hestiated on wheather he should speak first or not.
And the young pinkette spoke first. "Who are you." To which the young Grant placed his hand over his left chest and slightly lowered head: "My name is Alexander J. Grant. Pleasure to make your acquaintance."
"... Are you a commoner?"Alexander's calm eyes is quicked switched to an irriated one as his eyebow had a slight twitch. "Does I..." He placed his hand on the cutlass, "look like a commoner to you?"
The slight aura scared the little girl a little. "Par-pardon me, mister Grant. But to me, you doesn't seems like a noble either." "Ah." By the looks of medieval structures surrounding him, he does have to admit that he, in his casual attire, doesn't fit as a noble in such age, or even as the son of the President of the United States.
"A-apologize, by the way you put that, it does seems that I was the one to be at fault." He averted his gaze with slight embarassment and apologetic eyes.
The sound of a middle-aged man clearing his throats can be heard. "It appears that Miss. Valliere has summoned a... quite particular familiar here."
Alexander turned his head to the man wearing a oversized robe and a black wizard hat, alongside a staff close to his height. It was then when Alex finally noticed the wand on the surrounding teenagers and short black cape, with colclusion that he was sent to a world of magic and familiar beast, judging by the various animals beside each students.
"Oh yeah, really particular, isn't it?" The student bursted in laughters after a witty remark. "Your orders, Ma'am?" Alexander was quick to noticed them being the center of ridicules, but the middle-aged man— the teacher of the students, to Alex's assumption— settled down the crowds before requesting the girl to proceed with the ritual.
"With him?" The teacher frowned upon her protest, and quickly take a glance at the skies. "While I do understand that you may feel embarassed doing so with a young man, but we are currently running out of time for you after failures upon failures."
"I-I understand."
She meekly approach him with trembling hand as she wave her wand. "I, Louise Francoise Le Blanc de La Valliere, ask upon the Pentagon of Five Elements; Bless upon this man and kame him as my familiar."
Alexander flustered as the girl put her wand over his forehead and brought her face close to his.
"Wait, I shouldn't let a little girl taking the lead... or something." And the two kissed for a minute or two.
"It's finished!" As the two let go, Alexander coughed and keeping his coposure, Louise, on the other hand, blushed a deep red.
"You surely does succeed with the contracting ritual, suprisingly, despite your failures in the summoning procedure."
"Sir, if I may," Alexander spoke up to her defense, "such kind of intimate action... it wouldn't be suitable for a female taking the lead, right?" "...Hm, you would be correct on that one, young man."
A burning sensation spiked on Alexander's left hand, making him yelp in the sudden pain. "Arrgh!" "I'm inscribing the familiar runes, this will be quick."
The inscribing only lasted 3 seconds, and Alexander, panting, was soon to recover himself from the pain.
The teacher approach Alexander and observe the rune with interest. "Hmmm, these runes..." "Sir?" 'Ahh, worry not, those are just some unusual rune— Now, let's get back to class, everyone." As the teacher float up, followed by the fellow students except Louise, leaving the Master-and-familiar duo behind.
However, Alexander felt a severe headace and hold his head in pain, heavy breathing, his conscious fading away. He could swore that the saw a small lightning in his fingertips before he fainted.
—
"You woke up. Good." Alexander groaned as he rose from his lying stance. "How long have I been out...?" "A couple of hours. It's already night time." Louise sat on her bed, and Alex find him on a small stack of hay.
'The moon—!' He looked out to the two disproportionate moon— a clear evident of him being sent to another world.
Everyone may dream of exciting adventures of courage, experiences, and friendship, etc. Alexander included. 'But not like this!'
"Alexander— is it?" "Since you are now my master— sure." "Hmph. Welcome to Tristain MAgic Academy."
"I suppose— argh!" His head spiked in pain. "Well, Miss Louise, now that I've bocme your familiar, I am looking forward to work alongside you in the future— until I found a way to return to my world, that is."
"That isn't going to happen," She shook her head, "under normal circumstances or at least according to the records." "Damn. Either way, I will be in your care."
"Can you... tell me about your world, perhaps?"She is visibly interested on another world. "Sure— My world doesn't contain magic, and in turn, we explore the world full of resources, obtain knowledges, create machinery and gadget to understand the world better, obtain advanced knowledge for advanced equipment. We call the exploration and knowledges science and refer the usage of equipment as technology."
"Facinating... and I believe that all world rely heavily on magic." "I can assure you, however, if all three concept— magic, science, technology— ever collided, human can achieve to a greater height."
"*Yawn* We have to sleep now, we have lesson tomorrow in the morning—" She bagan to take off her clothes, much to Alexander's embarassment, who quickly turned to his back. "I-I think you failed to consider me, technically, a healthy, human male." DON-DON'T LOOK!" 'WHAT ELSE YOU THINK I AM DOING?!"
"Yo-you can turn around." He can hear the shyness in her voice. "Um, I'd rather not... Goodnight, Miss Louise." "Likewise, Alexander."
