Morning has arrived, a new day to begin— the same day where the rebels will breach, and the wedding between Louise and Wardes.
As far as Alex know, an oblivious Louise was rather shaken awake by Wardes, and brought her away— The three are placed near each other, so it is far more easier for Alex to eavesdrop the process.
Seconds after the noble duo walked past Alexander, he know it was his time to make him move too, so he quiet leave his room without making a noise, and carefully follow them at every corners.
All the soldiers are stationed at the wall, and there is no need for Alexander to worry about Albionian patrols around the castle. The two walked past the courtyard, and to a small chapel.
Alexnader invesgated the surrounding, and confident that if anything happen inside, he can rush in and shoot away. And so he waited outside the chapel, leaning against the wall.
However, Alexander's left eye was filled with pain all of a sudden, and the male do his best to suppress his pain with mere light grunts and his will.
The pain died down, and Alex saw Wardes and Wales from his left eye, and his normal vision from his left. "I... I can now see what Louise can see now, Derf." he whispered.
In his sight, it seems that Louise and Wardes are arguing over something, with an akward Prince Wales standing next to the two. Alex has never saw or imagine what a frustrated Wardes would look like, and if he (and Louise of course) see this, then this mean something bad is coming.
The argue escalated as Wardes grap onto Louise firmly, and Wales was violently shoved off by Wardes. Alexander already withdrew his revolver, vision of Louise on his left eye was replaced by a see-through vision from behind the wooden door, along with a lime extended from the barrel of the revolver.
The vision has Wardes withdrew his wand and pointed towards the Prince. And Alexander breached the wooden door, suprising the rest. In slowed-down, Alexander aim the sight and the line towards Wardes' chest and pulled the trigger, successfully hitting the Viscount with a .38 Colt exactly where he wanted.
The breacher rush in and held Wardes by his collar. "Are you with the rebels outside, Viscount!?"
"Haha.." blood flow out from his mouth. "We Reconquista has no limit... for the nationality for the nobles... who wished to join her cause... as we all care deeply... for the future of Halkeginia... We shall retake the Holy Land... in the name of Brimir..."
"... Shut the hell up, traitor." Alexnader ended him with a stab to his chest with the cutlass, and wiped off the blood with the agent's shirt.
Before any of them could say a word, Derf moved a lot in his shealth.
"What now, Derf?" "Well... this might seem a very ridiculous request, but... can you place me next to him to absorb his magic to restore myself?" "What the- ew." A disgusted Alexander throw the sword toward Wardes, stabbed into the ground net to the body.
Visible streams of mana began to transfer from Wardes body to Derflinger, and Alexnader retrieve the sword, and gave it a few swing, the blade seems lighter. "Though disgusting, there are clearly improvements on the sword."
"Well, that, and I remembered something: I was also once wielded by a Gandalf in the distanced past, and I can actually absorb offensive magic." "... neat. Soo... what now?"
"The fight has already broke out, I must head out and meet them— Thank you for your rescur, Mister Familiar, but I fear such assistance may be futile for a prince who will meet his demise sooner or later." "Right, as if you want to die by the hands of this traitor, rather than die on the battlefield."
"Haha! You make a very good point, good sir. Then... take my ring and give this to my dear Henrietta, as a part way gift, and a personal token of appreciation, albeit temporary. Farewell!" Alexander put on the ring on his index finger as Wardes rushed out to meet the rebels at wherever they are, whom Alexander saluted towards.
"... We have to find a way to get out of here. But how-" The ground below them rumble, and a bear-sized mole appeared from below. "Woah! Guiche's familiar?" "Well the master shouldn't be far away!" Right after, the said male poped up from the hole.
"My dear Verdandi! Where are you heading- oh, greetings you two." "How on earth did you-" Two more familiar female appeared from the hole. "Well, I sure am glad to see you three still in one piece, and such convience— We need a hand out here."
Yet the attention of the trio are diverted elsewhere, namely a body covered by an big hat. "Is that..." "Long story short, Viscount Wardes is a traitor, a collaborator with the rebels outside. We have to get out of there and report everything to Her Royal Highness Prince Henrietta."
"...A-alright, hop in." The hole is nearly vertical, and the exit is right below the floating continent.
The five are currently at the back of Tabitha's Wind Dragon, Sylphid, with the huge mole being held in it's mouth, despite it's protest squeaks.
Alexnader gently hugged a crying Louise in his warmly arms, stroking her pink hair, doing his best to comfort her. She had just withnessed the cruelty of a war: The assissnation attempt, the betrayal, and the willingness to die, which Louise called such out to be "selfish".

Tabitha landed her dragon right in front of the gate of the Royal castle, much to their suprise, and to the manticore knight guard's raised rapier-wand.
"Halt! Lower your wands" The guard captain approach the five, who begrudgingly followed the order, to the mutter of "Royal Court" of the bluenette.
"The airspace above the castle is a no-fly zone, haven't you recived the notice?!" Alexnader decided to handle this himsefl. "My apologizes, sir, we left Tristain just two days ago— We have an urgent report to be made directly towards Her Royal Highness Princess Henrietta, would you be kindly to let us through?"
"Until you identify yourselves and state your business, we cannot allow your entrance." "Hm." Alexander walked back to the four, hold Louise in his arms, and back to the captain. "C'mon, they won't let us in until they know of our identity and business with Her Royal Highness."
"I am the third daughter of Duke La Valliere, Louise Francoise— I request an audience with Her Royal Highness." "Hm..." The captain took a good look to the little girl. "Indeed, you make quite a heavy resemblence with your mother— but may I ask your business with the Princess?" "I am afraid that I cannot tell much, only that we was conducting a highly confidental quest given by Her Royal Highness."
"...Then unless you properly state the nature of the mission, I am afraid that we cannot grant your entrance." "Hm... We make ourselves quite an commotion during our arrival. I do not wish to offence or insult Princess Henrietta, but considering the magnitude of such quest, I believe she would greet us before our arrival towards a meeting room."
"Very well." The guards retracted their weapon, except for the captain, who grip onto his wand.
Moments later Princess Henrietta indeed came rushing towards the five. She and Louise embraced each other.
"Princess!" "My Dear Louise, Louise Francoise! You had truly made it! I know I can trust you on this one!— These are my guest, Captain, please lower your weapon." "Yes, Your Highness."
"Here, the letter you requested, Your Royal Highness." "Indeed, thank you very much, Louise... I see that Prince Wales and Viscount Wardes are not with you... so Wales has passed away on the battlefield, but to think of such thing happened on the Viscount... that is..."
"I am very afraid that this is something we must discuss in privacy, Ma'am." Alexander switched to militaristic tone, bringing out the attention, and sensing the serious in his tone.
"What has happened during your journey?... Where are my manners, pleace come and talk in my room. As for the others— I have also prepared another room, please take some rest and wait there."
