After a week...

Y/n was at home with her two male friends, Jimin and Taehyung, and they were all preparing and packing for their trip to Seoul.

Taehyung asked, "All done?" and the other two nodded in agreement.

"Hey Y/n, how about making us some coffee? It's been ages since I had yours." Jimin said, pouting cutely, which made her smile. "Sure, Jiminie~ Umm, Tae, what do you want since you don't like coffee?"

"Anything is fine," he replied, not really wanting to get into the conversation, which she thought was odd for him, but she just brushed it off.

A few minutes later...

Y/n came out of the kitchen with three mugs and some snacks. "Jimin, here's your coffee, and Tae, here's your hot chocolate." she said as she sat on the single sofa next to her friends.

Jimin, after taking a sip from his mug, asked, "Have you told Jisso we're coming? It's been a few days since Tae and I last Facetimed her."

Y/n shook her head, "Nah, I wanna surprise her just like she did on my birthday... Hehe!" she giggled.

"Y/n..." Taehyung said seriously, and she hummed, looking up at him, knowing what he was going to ask. He continued, "Did you talk to Jungkook?"
Before he could say anything else, she cut him off with a sigh, "No... I mean... I didn't after that day, you know."

Jimin slapped his lover's arm gently "Why are you asking her such stupid questions? Don't talk about him you fool!"

Tae scratched the back of his neck, feeling guilty for upsetting his friend when Y/n finally spoke after a short silence, "Why Tae? Why the sudden question? It's not like you ever really cared about Jungkook, especially when you know what exactly happened a week ago."

He sighed deeply and said, "It's... nothing, just asking." "Do you really think I'll buy that, Tae? I know you, and something's off... now spill, what are you hiding?" She said, because whether it was Jimin, Tae, or Jisso, she knew them inside out, and today Tae was a bit different, and she knew it wasn't in a good way.

"Y/n umm... I-" he was hesitant so Jimin pulled him into a hug "Come on love tell us what's wrong? Did that bastard say something to you again about visiting a psychologist I swear I'll kill-" Taehyung cut him off by breaking the hug, "No, he didn't tease me, especially after Y/n asked him not to, but..."

Taehyung was seeing a psychologist because of his past. His parents ditched him after finding out he was gay, saying they were embarrassed. He realized he was gay when he felt a sudden attraction towards Jimin in college. After his parents abandoned him, he moved in with Jimin, and that's where he met Y/n, Jisoo, and Jungkook, who were Jimin's school friends.

Jungkook never liked Tae because he thought Taehyung took his best friend Jimin, and he also didn't like that he was seeing a psychologist because he thinks that only mentally unstable people visit psychologist.

Taehyung looked at Y/n, who was waiting for him to continue, and he finally decided to speak out, "Umm, I went to the office yesterday to submit my work, and that's when I heard Jenny talking to her friends, saying that she and Jungkook got engaged a few days ago..."

It hit Y/n like a lightning bolt, and she just sat there, stiff and emotionless. It wasn't like she didn't expect it, but deep down, she still hoped things would go back to normal. And with this, that hope shattered, broken into a million pieces like a shattered glass.
