It's always the same dream over and over again. There's a flash of me walking through the school corridors, a glimpse of me standing outside in the rain and then I turn around a see a blonde boy standing in front of me. He looks so familiar but I can't tell where I've seen him before?
I wake up every morning more confused than the day before. I hear my mum calling me "SOPHIA BREAKFAST". I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen where I see my twin sister Sophie already eating a tub of yoghurt. Sophie and I are twins but we look completely different. Sophie has long wavy chocolate brown hair and I have curly golden hair. Sophie is also quite tan whilst I'm pretty pale and have freckles on my cheeks and arms. She also doesn't have to wear glasses like I do. Sophie gets her looks from my Mum, who has a Croatian heritage. I look more like my Dad who grew up in Australia. We lived there too before we moved to the US when we were 10, that's why Sophie and I still have our accents.
I put some bread in the toaster and poured myself a glass of water.
"Did you have the dream again?" Sophie asked.
"Yup, what about you?" I replied
"I can't get this dark haired boy out of my head!" She exclaimed
Sophie had a recurring dream like me too. Except hers involved her walking the opposite way down the hallway and going up to the school rooftop garden where a dark haired boy was chasing after her. This isn't unusual that we have similar dreams but this is the longest that one has lasted.
"Come on girls get to school before you miss first period"
"Oh no that would be a tragedy" Sophie and I said sarcastically at the same time. We burst out laughing as we walked out the door and headed in the direction of school.
As we were walking I got this strange feeling inside of me and I could tell that Sophie was feeling it too
"Something important is going to happen today, but I can't tell what it is" I said to her
"I was thinking the same thing" she smiled nervously.
The feeling got stronger as we got closer to school. Once we arrived we saw our friends KJ and Lacey running towards us.
"OMG DID YOU HEAR???" KJ squealed.
"Hear what?" Sophie asked
"APPARENTLY THERES TWO NEW GUYS STARTING HERE TODAY AND THEYRE REALLY CUTE!!" LACEY SCREAMED
That's when the feeling inside me got even stronger than it already was and I knew that whatever this feeling was, it had something to do with those boys.
