Undeserving Love

Calm Beginning?

Pete arrived in the city with nothing but a small bag, some essential things with some amount of money which will hardly be enough for his basic needs. It was quite obvious that he will stay in the dormitory of the university. He just wished the things will be just calm. He was assigned to his room by dormitory worker where he met his roommate, June. June's way of attire gave the idea that he must be rich plus the things he has also shining with luxury. He has got those hunk kind of features with handsome face but Pete just wanted to be his roommate with no trouble and did not expect other things.  Pete wondered why rich people will like to stay in the dorm instead of condo? He received an answer after a while that June's parents got divorced and in middle school June was always causing problems therefore they decided that for one year he'll be staying in the dorm.
When Pete entered in the room, they greeted each other with June saying 'lets get along well buddy!' Pete just replied in yes or no to his questions except telling his name. Soon after June's friends Thada and Kao arrived there, they began to cheer and talk loudly Pete didnt mind them and silently began to organize things. Most of the room was filled up with Jun's things however Pete didnt mind as he didnt have much luggage or things that needed more space. Thada and Kao introduced themselves to Pete too, and the three friends talked about how they will enjoy this university life by finding girls, wasting themselves with boose in the club. They funnily even told June ' You have all these hot girls dude spare some for us too!' they told Pete how June is famous in girls and mentioned 'dude you are too delicate like girls, how can you hit on them?' and laughed, Pete didnt give any reaction which made them say that 'he seems silent type' and they left for lunch. Pete was hungry too so he went to the canteen of the university and had lunch on the seat, where no one could notice him. That day was mostly went in organizing things meanwhile his roommate was having fun with his friends for whole day and just came in the room to sleep. He sounded drunk when he came back, quite annoyed at lights which were turned off, then just removed his clothes and went to sleep.
Next morning Pete woke up around 6.30, done with his bath and other morning activities and was perfectly ready at 8.30 a.m. for the class, while June was enjoying his sleep his alarm went on at 8 but he was not waking up, so Pete has to call him but he did not wake up instead just turned the alarm off. Pete did not wake him up and went to the class by himself. When he entered in the classroom many students were already there, the lecture was apparently important for business administration. Pete again prefered the seat at the backside where there were less students, after some time two people joined him, one girl named Joy and a boy with glasses named Gun,  they also seemed to be like him, scared of front seats or too many people but Joy turned out to be chatty among them. She asked both of the boys their names and introduced herself and said lets be friends! Pete has no intention of making friends as later on he didnt want to get in trouble or alienated by them. He just answered her questions about where is he from, his name and subject he has chosen. The professor seemed mature here in university for Pete, he noticed that they hardly take interest in what students were doing, concentrated more on teaching. He noticed in second lecture his roommate arrived with one of his friends, he waved at Pete when he saw him. Pete just looked at him and nothing else. June sat with two of his friends and one girl that looked so beautiful. When it was lunch break they went to canteen to have lunch Pete just wanted to go alone thats why he tried to stall some time so Joy and Gun will be gone but both of them waited there like for more than five minutes which resulted into Pete going with them. Canteen was filled with all the students where some Juniors getting acquainted with seniors too but these three just found one peaceful corner. They ordered the food, Pete noticed Joy and Gun also ordered omlett and rice like him not anything flashy. Joy came back with his chirpy nature called him cutie while to Gun, she called him nerdy. She was going on about how she will find her dreamboy in the university and asked about whether the other both of them do have girlfriend? Pete was quite hesitant while answering, he was wondering if he tells them about his sexuality will they accept him or it would be like in the past? He heard earlier that in city the people are advanced and quite opened up towards homosexuality but you still can not say. He decided to let this two people know when there will be right time. He answere no to the qusetion and Joy was assuring them that she will find girlfriends for then with 'Joy'. Pete liked cheerful nature of Joy, suddenly someone put hand on his shoulder, he looked at the side and June with his gang, he said ' hey you didnt wake me up in morning' Pete couldn't say anything 'you seem to be so interested in study you nerdy' he said, his friends laughed and went ahead with him. Joy was just staring at him and after a while asked, 'who's that handsome but jerk kind of a guy?' Pete says my roomate and Joy was going on like you are lucky and all. Pete noticed that June and his gang tell few students to get away from their seats and sat there with June putting his hand around the shoulder of the girl. Pete wished he wouldn't be a bully! People like them always turned out to be bully.
