I sighed and flopped down onto my plain sage green comforter, "Oh c'mon baby, you can't seriously be getting that tired already," my bestfriend Cassidy said in a playful manner.

I rolled my eyes as I shifter over onto my back before sitting up and eyeing her as she placed a stack of diapers that were folded neatly into my bag. I let out a loud sigh before falling back again, hitting the comforter with a loud grunt.

"I can, actually," I finally answered to her. 

"Mmh.." She hummed in response. We were almost done packing my bags, and hers were already packed, it was most likely around 4:30 - 4:45 and our flight back to California where my mom would be picking us up and driving us back to my house in Ojai, which is a small city in Ventura County, California, northwest of Los Angeles. Set in a valley in the Topatopa Mountains would be at 5.

"Anndddd..." Cassidy started before pausing for more dramatic effect, "Done." She simply said making me laugh a little, we took our bags and headed straight for the airport in a black rental car with light brown leather seats and had the smell of a car wash.

Once we got on the plain we were seated near the left wing of the plain, there were three seats in a row, I sat near the window, Cassidy sat next to me, and an old guy sat near the isle. As the plain was starting to take off Cassidy took my hand in hers knowing full well how much I hated flying. I smiled reassuringly as we took off.

The plain ride was pretty smooth apart from very minor turbulence, the view was beautiful once we got somewhat above the clouds.

We eventually landed a after 2 hours of constant flying and grabbed our luggage's from the pick up stand point. We waited outside for my mothers red Toyota that she'd had since I was a kid.

We waited for a about a solid 15 minutes before we saw her and started to wave her over, it took a while due to the immense traffic but we made it home safely at, 9.

I opened the front door to my family home and walked in being greeted by a welcome home sign being surrounded by my aunts and uncles, along with my father and my brother. I was actually surprised that was still living with our parents seeing as he was what? Nearly 25, nonetheless I still greeted him and the rest of the family with kindness, after the welcome home party everybody but my parents, my brother, and Cassidy went home.

"I hope you and Cassidy don't mind sharing a room," My mother asked warmly her already strong midwestern accent increasing. Me and Cassidy shared glances.

I gave my mom a smiled before speaking, "I mean, I don't mind," I turned my attention over to Cassidy as she nodded subtlety and gave a wavering smile, "I would love that," She stated briskly, her emotions not matching up with her body language. 

My mother nodded calmly as me and Cassidy went down the hall to my old room, nothing had changed too much apart from the bare walls and the plain mattress. The wallpaper was outdated and the carpet needed to be replaced, but that would come later, for now, I was too tired to even care that much.

Cassidy and I agreed on her sleeping in the bed and I would sleep on the pull-out couch.

We quickly set up in the bathroom that was attached to the bedroom, hiding the baby things, like adult diapers, onesies, and pacifiers, in the bottom cabinet, the baby powder, oil, and lotion in the upper wall cabinet.

My diaper was semi-full from the plain ride and so Cassidy offered to change me. I decided to change myself seeing as I only usually wore pull-ups to night just for extra protection, I had good control over my urinary system and my bowls, but I still had few night time accidents.

I pulled out the couch and set up the bedding before crawling into it, my brother walked into the room just as Cassidy was walking out of the bathroom after getting changed.

"Hm? Oh, hey... Uh-" "Joshua," My brother said in annoyance while glaring at me and then at Cassidy before fixating his eyes back on me, "Just wanted to make sure you were in bed, night," He said before walking out and slamming the door shut. Me and Cassidy exchanged knowing glances. "He'd be the prefect baby boy," Cassidy said after walking over to me and sitting on the pull out next to where I was laying. 

I smiled and nodded at how much we thought alike. Cassidy pulled down the covers and pulled down the him of my night shorts just a bit making me blush a bit as she did. "Just making sure you were wearing one, baby," Cassidy said kindly before pulling my night time shorts up and placing the covers over my again.

She smiled and kissed my forehead before heading over to the bed and getting situated. "Goodnight!" I said in a cheerful tone, "Goodnight," Cassidy responded before I turned over to my side and shut my eyes falling asleep.
