Arranged Wedding?

Chapter 3

Madison P.O.V.

        As I woke up I looked over to the other side of the bed and realized that Braxton was sleeping with me. I rolled over and he looked at me and barked. I got out of the bed and fed him and then went to go fix my breakfast. I poured the milk into my cup and sat down on the couch and texted Niall to ask him if Braxton was up to date on his shots. He replied with a 'no', so I got onto the local Vetnerian website and made an appointment for him. I changed into some yoga pants and a t-shirt and slipped on a sweatshirts over top. I grabbed the dog leash from the drawer and led Braxton into my car. Soon enough we were on our way to the local vet. I finished up at the vet and decided to go over to Niall's place. I latched the leash onto Braxton and we walked inside of Niall's place.

"Hey"

        Niall came up to me and picked me up and hugged me. I unlatched his leash and let him run around his house. We both walked over to the couch. I took off my shoes and sat down next to him. I pulled the blanket over him as Niall turned on Netflix and picked out a movie.

"So what did you do with him today"

"Oh, I took him to the vet, just a few other errands here and there"

"How many shots did he get today"

"eh, about 3, I'm gonna go get a drink"

        I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a few things and a drink and walked back into the living room. I looked at Niall, he seemed pale...

"Niall"

"Hey, please respond to me"

        I dropped everything on the table and walked over to Niall, who was un-responsive. I searched through the blankets and found my phone and proceeded to call an ambulance. I heard the sirens roar in the distance as I began to cry and hold him, hoping for the best. The medics came in and listened to his heart and strapped him onto the gurney and took him to the hospital. I frantically got into my car, hand shaking and my breath uneasy I began to drive to the hospital. My phone is linker to my car, so that any calls that come to my phone when I am driving will come through my radio. 

"Hello"

"Madison, this is Liam, I just saw a ambulance go into Niall's place, everything okay"

".....Liam"

"Madison, what happened"

"I... went into the kitchen and came back and he was pale and unresponsive"

"Okay, I'll call the other guys, I'm on my way"

        The phone line went silent as I pulled into the hospital and parked my car. I walked in, my breath still a little uneasy as I asked the nurse at the desk if Niall had been checked in yet. She told yes and that he had went for an emergency CAT SCAN and that he will be in his room in about 45 minutes. Right after she finished talking Liam, Harry, Zayn, and Louis all showed up. I looked at them and then went to go sit down. They all followed suit and sat down in the little waiting room. I tried everything to get my mind off of it but Harry, Louis, and Zayn kept on talking about it. I decided to walk around the hospital and in an attempt to clear my mind. I walked over to the elevator as it opened and walked inside but Liam came inside as well. 

"If you're going to talk about it I suggest that you leave"

"Madison... I'm not"

"Okay" 

"How are you feeling"

"Weak, tired... it all happened so fast"

"I know"

        Liam pulled me into a hug and then looked at me. The elevator clicked and we walked out, there was a huge glass window and a nursery on the other side of it. Full of cute newborn babies. I just stared through the window and gently touched the glass as I smiled. 

"You like children don't you"

"I had a miscarriage when I was 16, I was young and dumb though"

"Oh, I'm sorry"

"No, it's fine, like I said, I was young and dumb"

"Okay"

        New Text Message: They put Ni on meds, he's slowly waking up and is able to talk and is requesting that he see you as soon as possible    -Hazza

"Liam I have to go, I'll talk to you later, okay"

"Okays, bye"

        I walked down the hallway in search for his room. It was actually quite easy to spot because there were guards standing outside of the room. I reached for the door knob and slowly opened the door to see Niall laying in the hospital bed. I almost broke down crying as I walked over to see him. He tried to sit up but he couldn't without help. Once he was up I pulled a chair over to him and grabbed him hand as the nurse turned towards us.

"If anything changes, like your stomach starts to hurt come and get us okay"

"Yea"

"Do they know what happened"

"Yea, remeber when we went out to dinner the other night and they think that somebody slipped some Oxycontin/Oxycodone into my drink or dinner. They said it takes anywhere from  from 9 to 17 hours to take an effect on the body"

"Are they reporting it"

"Yea but it's weird because noybody else had contact with us except for the waiter and manager"

"Hmm, that is weird"

        The door opens slightly and the guys proceed to walk in as they sit down on the couch near his bed. I let go of his hand and went over to grab a bottle of water and gave it to Niall. He leaned over to me and began to whisper something in my ear.

"Hey babe, go get the doctor.... I can't feel my leg"

        I got up and shut the door behind me and looked around for the nurse that I had seen earlier, but I couldn't find her. I continued on and walked up to the front desk and told the lady that he could not feel his leg. She paged his doctor and I walked back into his room and the doctor walked in behind me. He looked at Niall's vitals and checked his Blood Pressure and continued on to do a series of tests. 

"You can't feel anything Mr.Horan"

"No... nothing"

"Okay, we will get you in to do a Computed Tomography and a MRI to see if we can get any further information"

"Sounds good, thank you"

"Sure thing, oh and one other thing, we are going to have another doctor working with me on your case just to make sure everything is okay for you"

"Thanks"
