Hi loves and welcome to my new book dedicated to my favourite (and really unwritten) Alan Rickman character, Lionel Shabandar.

As you've seen, and read from the cover of this book, this is a mafia AU book, meaning that there will be new characters added and that some stuff won't be the same as in the movie.

Speaking of which, before we dive into this book here are some things you need to know.

1. Y/N is 21 in this book and Lionel is 40 (which means that he looks slightly younger)

2. For my life to be easier, you will be 5.5ft (1.65m) and Lionel will be 6.2ft(1.88m)

3. Your last name will be Gold, because it'll be easier for me to use only Y/N

4. This story is NOT a slow burn, we'll get into the plot from the 2nd chapter :)

5. This book will contain mature themes and strong language, also things that might trigger people such as blood, death etc. I will put a warning at the beginning of the chapter if I think it's needed, but just so you know, nothing graphic will be written here...except for smut ;)

6. Speaking of smut, don't expect that only because this is a mafia AU this book will full of smut, no, I'll only put it where I think it's needed, so if you're here because you want heavy smut in every chapter, you can leave and read another authors book.

7. Because in the movie we have absolutely no information about Lionel's family, I took up the "responsibility" and created it.

8. The mafia AU with Lionel is FULLY MY idea, so if you're thinking of doing the same with the same character, please credit me.

9. Even though the AU is my idea, I have to thank SnapesBXTCH because most of my ideas came from our conversation on Instagram

10. English is not my first language, and while I do proof read and get help from the Microsoft Word correction thingy, I can look over a mistake, so please, do point them out if I have any :)

11. As seen in the title, this is an xReader book, but I forgot to mention that this is an x(female)Reader book, which means that for Y/N the pronouns used will be she/her. I apologise if you do not use those pronouns but these will be the ones used in this book

L/C: lip colour
L/S: lip shape
E/C: eye colour
E/S: eye shape

H/L: hair length
