Blood Quill

Chapter 1

"Ophelia, you shouldn't have said anything!" Harry was mad at me for getting detention. "Ok, first of all, your my twin brother, so you weren't seeing the toad alone, second of all, I'm 15, stop treating me like I'm still 11." He just glared at me.

We had detention for the entire week for 5 hours. It was our last class finally. As much as I loved Hogwarts, I didn't have a very good attention span.

I went to my dorm took off my robes and changed into something different. I went to dinner and went back to the common room.

"Theo! Let's go!" We had to go to our detention. I sighed and made my way across the room.

I knocked on the door. A very squeaky "Come in!" came from the other side. Her voice could kill a baskalisk.

"You," she pointed at Harry, "will write 'I must not tell lies' and you," she pointed at me with her toad finger "will write 'I will obey rules'." Me and Harry went to pull out quills. "You won't be needing those. Your gonna use mine." she passed us each a pink quill. "How many times do we have to write it?" She looked at me with an evil smirk on her face. "As long as it takes to sink in."

"Don't we need ink?" I questioned her. "Oh no, these are special quills, you won't need any ink." She gave a giggle and me and Harry started writing.

The second I wrote the 'I' there was a burning sensation in my left hand. I looked over to see the words being eched into the back of my hand. "Is there a problem?" I shook my head and continued.

After what felt like 5 years we were finally aloud to leave. I felt sick due to loss of blood. "Stupid toad..." I mumbled under my breath holding back tears.

When we got back to the common room I went to the bathroom and tried to clean up my hand. After about half an hour it stopped bleeding enough that it wouldn't be noticeable. I left the bathroom, changed and went to sleep.
