The Lesser BeingSummary:

To protect his sister Kaminari gives himself over to the Hybrids. These people are better in every way imaginable, they are stronger, smarter and more adaptable and therefor humans are just around to be their play things. Thankfully, Kaminari was never good at doing what people expect of him, he was always into doing his own thing and Bakugo is forced to reconsider everything he's been told.

Chapter Text

Bakugo's 18th birthday would go like any birthday of the most powerful leader of hybrids. He would get first pick of the women from the town they pillage in celebration. His brothers each had their special 18th birthday and now it was his turn.

Humans were essentially lesser beings, they made up a large part of the population but like ants they were insignificant. They lacked enough power, most people had a quirk of sorts but nothing was compared to the Hybrids. Tails and ears were their stand out feature that differentiated them from humans on a physical level. When it came down to it Hybrids were more powerful, faster with better sense of smell and eyesight. They were all around the better species and they took what they wanted.

Humans were entertainment to a degree, a coming of age ceremony proved it to be as such. As every house was burned, many of the people slaughtered there was a line up of what was attractive young females. They stood in line as others were forced away and Bakugo come over on his horse, he jumped down to inspect his pickings. It's his birthday so he gets first pick and his brothers could pick from what's left if they so choose.

He glanced over every trembling stick of a woman he couldn't help but scowl. It would be just his luck they'd pick a rather poor town for his birthday. The older brothers were always cold to the younger brothers and since Bakugo was the youngest they didn't deem it necessary to give him any special treatment. These women weren't the worst out there but they were definitely malnourished.

He paced by until golden blond hair caught his eye, he stopped and looked over the woman in question with a rather bored expression as if deciding which of the vegetables was the better one at the marketplace. Detached but slightly interested because he had to pick the least shitty out of the group. The blond had golden eyes and a strange black mark in her hair, Bakugo leaned forward and the girl looked down at her feet and didn't make a move.

Bakugo leaned close to the others neck and sniffed a bit. There was a large mix of scents, herbs, mostly lemon grass as if the other had bathed in the stuff but something caught the ashen blond's attention. The scent of a male.

Standing before him in a dress covered in sweet smelling oils and herbs was definitely a male. Obviously, the others didn't care to notice or smell him closely and it was almost laughable the other thought he could get away with this. The smaller male slowly lifted his head and gave this coy little smile to Bakugo that made the others eyes widen in surprise. He wasn't sure what this idiots aim was but he got him curious that was for damn sure.

He glanced through the crowd behind the crossdressing idiot in front of him and spotted a head of blond hair just like the idiot in the dress. The person had roughly chopped hair from a rushed haircut, the same black mark in the bangs and it was evident by the puffy eyes that they had been crying.
Something squeezed for just a second in Bakugo's chest and not liking it he decided to grab the idiot by the arm and pull him forward. "This one will suffice."

He picked the blond up like a sack of potatoes and lugged him over his shoulder before he got on his horse. His brothers were quick to pick from the rest of the women and took who they wanted.
