The chase

Chapter 1: The Chase

Cristy and I kept running and running but it kept getting closer and closer. It was really ugly and it was a Manticore. I was clad in ripped up jeans, an off the shoulder t-shirt with a skull and cross bone design on it, covered and caked in mud and dirt, my army designed boots were caked and covered in mud.
Cristina and I aren't normal teenagers as one would say, we were, as one would put it, demigods. Half mortal and half god/goddess. The only problem was... we aren't normal demigods, which was pretty shocking. How you ask well example 1) Cristina can't see a single thing god related; weapons, monsters, and other demigods, why she can see me is beyond my knowledge which is saying something considering I know many things, 2) is that I'm pretty sure no one knows about my existence, sure I'm a demigod but our original school protector transferred schools because, Cristina wasn't allowed to go to camp and again she didn't even know I existed. And 3) was that Cristina already knows her godly parent or rather I should say parents yup Cristina has 2 parents that are both gods in truth she like me shouldn't even exist, her godly parents were Hephaestus, the Greek god of Forges, fire, and all that jazz, and Epona, the ROMAN goddess of horses. Yeah one Roman and one Greek again we are both not supposed to be in existence.
Anyhow we kept running and running with me dragging Cristina the whole way. We were running through a forest somewhere in New York State with an enraged Manticore on our tails as it chased us towards.... Well where ever it was taking us.
My name is Kaitlyn Calliope Grace and this was how I found myself.

Alex and I ran as this weird half bird and half woman thing chased in a forest. BTW my name is Finn, Finn Ackerman. I'm a teenage kid with a single mom and a best friend named Alex Marsina who also had a single mom. I had shaggy brown hair that never tamed and dark brown, almost black, eyes. Alex on the other hand had dark brown curly hair and chocolate brown eyes.
But moving on the monster woman thing, which I saw in an old Greek history book, kept chasing us I mean we didn't do anything but listen to some Korean music... Alright fine and playing pranks on our teachers and the neighborhood bullies..., again. Besides I found out that the thing that was chasing us was called a Fury. It, maybe she, was chasing us through the forest in the middle of nowhere like a dog herding sheep. This is confusing as is one normal morning of Korean music, snacks, and board games turned into a living hell in under an hour.
We kept running and running and until we ran into something, or rather someone...

{Normal P.O.V.}

12 kids all ran into each other suddenly, all from different directions, in pairs, and being chased by something big and more importantly angry. Monsters. Sean Kim and Alex Marsina being chased by a Fury, Kaitlyn Grace and Cristina Karmine, a brown haired, tan skinned, and doe eyed girl, were being chased by a Manticore. Another pair, which consisted of a small girl with pin straight black hair and dark brown soul-less eyes and another girl taller than the first with brown curled hair and brown eyes, were being chased by what one would call a Chimera, their names were Isabella 'Bella' Venus and Cameron Ocarina respectively.
The 4th pair of the group of 12 were 2 girls named McKenzie and Mansi. McKenzie had cloudy gray eyes and dirty blond hair, Mansi was completely different though she had dark skin, black curly hair, and dark green eyes. They were being chased by an Echidna.
The next 2 kids, both girls, one with tan skin, dark brown eyes, and Hazelnut brown hair, the other was a dark skinned girl, with wavy dark brown hair, and brown mauve eyes. Their names were Katie Hunts and Vanessa Yewnola, respectively of course. They were so called 'best friends'. They were being chased by an angered Erymanthian Boar, also known as a mechanical bull/pig thing.
The last 2 of the group was a girl that went by the name of Caroline Sews, Caroline had curly blond hair and bright blue eyes, and the other went by the name of Gabby Ingarius, she had pin straight black hair and dark brown eyes she was a tanned skinned girl with a few...uh problems. Both of these girls were being chased by a Kampe. Also known as a creepy woman that looked like medusa minus the stone magic.
Any ways by this time the monsters had surrounded all of them and they were all closing in on them. Kaitlyn stood in front of all of the others and got into a fighting position and turned every few seconds looking for which would strike first. She just kept turning until a gleaming silver arrow pierced the Kampe in the chest, destroying it. Then a voice, obviously female rang out,
"Yoohoo!! If it's a fight you want it's a fight that you're gonna get!" a girl with raven hair and bright blue streaks appeared with 11 other kids all of them no older than 16 at least. There were 2 blondes, a girl and a boy, 4 raven haired kids, one of them being the first girl and the others being boys, there was Latino boy, a brunette girl, and a somewhat black girl.
