-Denki Kaminari-

It was the day before my birthday and I was beyond excited. No one's really said anything but Izuku. He's said he had a surprise for me. Aizawa sensei and the other teachers also said they had something for me. I was so happy it would be one of my first birthday's that I got to celebrate with my friends and didn't sit and listen to my family bitch about my sexuality and lack of friends. But that's besides the point. The gift that I was the most excited about seeing was Shinso's since he's my first boyfriend and I just knew it would be something special.

I went to the common room to see if I could get one of the smarter bunch to help tutor me in the art history lesson me since my ADHD was having me zone out and I end up drawing the art I am supposed to be studying. But I didn't believe my eyes when I stepped out of the elevator. There was MY boyfriend with the person who was supposed to be my best friend Kirishima kissing as the class encouraged them hyping them up. I felt the tears welling up in my eyes as I looked heartbroken. "What the fuck?" My attention turned to Izuku who stood at the door groceries in hand.

"Tch what now nerd?" Bakugou said leaning back in the love seat Mina on his lap as she hung her arms around his neck humming. "What the fuck are you doing? Isn't Shinso dating Kaminari why is he kissing his BEST FRIEND?!" He shouted making me flinch a bit I had never heard him yell. "Tch and? The little dumb pikachu's just going to cry about it to us before he gets over it. No big deal plus it wasn't like he really liked Shinso anyway." Mina said her words stabbing my heart multiple times over. "Well I think you should tell that to him since he's standing right their." Hagakura said as she and her invisible self laid on Ojirou.

"...ummm..." I didn't know what to say what to do. My body just felt stiff. I could feel the burning spark of my tears running down my skin. "Kaminari?" I looked up from the ground as I watched the droplets with a few electrical sparks around it flow slowly to the ground. "Huh?" Izuku was now in front of me the bags he had dropped onto the floor. His quirk activated the green sparks flying around him as they seemed to interact with my own.

"...I need to- get out..." I whispered holding onto his shirt feeling like the world was swirling their loud voices in the background becoming louder and more aggressive. Next thing I knew I was in his arms being carried out of the building and into the sky. I felt like my emotions ran wild like my quirk. It hurt. It hurts. It hurts! IT HURTS!! "IT HURTS!!" I felt myself becoming weightless as I let it out the pent up emotions.

I don't know what happened after that I just remembered seeing Izuku's fluffy green hair rushing towards me. I don't know but I need to sleep I am spent.

Narrator pov

It had been hours after the incident and Kaminari was in the Chiyo's office his heartbeat sounding throughout the entire office as she worked on her paperwork while Izuku sat at his side. His forehead pressed against Kaminari's hand as he prayed silently that he would be alright. "Izuku?" He hummed hearing his mentor's voice along with his teacher's faint cologne of cats, coffee and a faint vanilla scent. "Do you know what might have caused this quirk malfunction?" Aizawa asked going to sit by the window as he watched the males.

"Your little private student cheated on him and our so called friends and classmates turned out to be snakes who didn't care for him." He said his thumb going over the the electrical scars on his hand. It came from the first time he used his quirk their all over his body creating intricate patterns that had Izuku wondering where they all went. "What?" Aizawa asked his eyes widening slightly he knew that Shinso and Denki where though he joked about not dating loud blondes he could see that they were a very cute couple.

"Yeah. I don't know why. It broke Kami since he had to hear all the shit they said about him after finding out he was there." Izuku sighed looked up at Kaminari as he let out a breath. "I think I am going to go find out more about this. Izuku inform me if anything changes okay?" Izuku nodded his head as his teacher disappeared out of the window with one swift motion. Izuku sat taking in Kaminari's features as he let out a soft snore making him smile lightly. "I think it be best if he takes some time off school so he can heal and rest from the matter." Chiyo said as she walked over clipboard in hand.
