She saw a hole
Gaping and black
Escaping from reality, she jumped
Or maybe she was pushed, either way
Alice never looked back
She landed in foreign soil
This foreign country so strange
She laughed in desperation
Here is where Alice could be seen
She followed the bunny
Snow white and red
Sticks and stones blocked her path
Bleeding Alice blue and gold
So she wandered into the woods
Flowers orange and yellow
Cats claws scratching her
Showing Alice the truth within
She saw a party of tea
Mad hatters telling her
She could still be free
"Alice, just learn to be"
She built a house of cards
Lies, stolen hopes and dreams
As it toppled under the queen
Alice cried bitter tears of joy
She spent her days here
Her nights on Earth
Alice never really left the hole
She just sunk deeper
Caught in webs of fantasy
