Dollar Bill's Threat

Rick wanted to remain in Paris, but as CEO, there were still many tasks that called him back to LA. 

Also, he did not trust that he would be able to stay away from Maya if he stayed. Thanks to the tabloids, Rick knew where she was staying and almost booked a room at the same hotel. If Bill Spencer got wind of that news, his position at the head of the company would be in jeopardy.

The private jet finally landed and Rick made his way toward the exit. Wanting nothing more than a shower and to go to bed, Rick departed from the plane and stepped inside the waiting private car. As the car turned the corner to exit the airport, it came to a sudden stop, jolting Rick in the process.

"Just what is going on!" he shouted at the driver.

"I'm sorry sir, but someone is in the middle of the road."

Who would be crazy enough to do that?

Rick wanted to be wrong about his guess, but as he leaned forward to look out through the windshield and saw the last person that he wanted to see walking toward the car, Rick's forehead creased.

"Stay here and wait for me to return." he instructed the driver as he opened the passenger side door to get out of the car.

Once Rick shut the car door behind him, Bill was standing in front of him.

"It seems you have forgotten the stipulations to our agreement, little Eric." 

Narrowing his eyes at Bill, Rick went to speak but was interrupted.

"Your former loverboy and I had a deal, one that put you at the head of the table. Or did you happen to forget that I have eyes and ears everywhere when you jumped on the jet to go chasing after Miz Avant?"

Not in the mood for Bill's attitude, Rick's jaw tensed as he started to explain.

"As CEO of Forrester, I went to visit our international headquarters..."

"To see if Thomas was now the leading man in Maya's life? I am well aware." Bill finished smugly.

The two men glared at one another as Bill stepped closer to Rick, "If chasing after Miz Avant is what you want Ricky, don't let me stop you. But there will be consequences - starting with your precious CEO title being handed to Daddy's favorite - Ridge."

Hearing Ridge's name made Rick straighten his stance as he narrowed his eyes back at Bill.

"Did you know about the loop in the agreement that you struck with Maya? That allowed her to be able to work with Forrester Creations International in the first place?"

Seeing Bill stare back at him, with no quick response, Rick smirked. "I see. So Maya was able to out smart the great Dollar Bill, uh?"

"Justin is already looking into the matter, so don't get your hopes up. This matter will be taken care of. You just stay away, or the next time we meet, it'll be to toss you out of Forrester."

Rick laughed as Bill turned to walk back to his car.

Though as he stepped back inside his private car and the driver drove away him, Rick began to contemplated just how the loophole that Maya created could be used to his advantage. Bill's last words echoed in his head, prompting Rick to take out his phone.

"Hi Carter, you still in the office?" Rick asked. "Good. Something urgent has come up and I need your help. "
