In the span of a year, things had changed drastically for Perseus and his family. Granted his family used only be Apollo and Natasha, mostly because he thought his brother was dead but that didn't stop him from hoping. Clint was an asshole sometimes and he was on a thin fucking line these days. Now, his little family had grown bigger and Atlas had been reintroduced to them.
Flora Donovan was a literal ray of sunshine, who got along with everyone she met. That had been evident to him when Peter's older brother, Damien, dropped something off for Apollo. The eldest Parker held a scowl on his face until he saw Apollo, and he smiled at him. It was evident to Perseus that his son meant something to Damien. Flora had stopped by Apollo's room and had kept Damien there for longer than Damien had wanted. Wanda Maximoff was different. She was closed off and stubborn, something Perseus deeply related to. In the early days, when he had been introduced to SHEILD, Perseus was the same.
In those first years after Atlas' death, Perseus hated the world and cared about one person and one person only, Apollo. Then he met Natasha and she became like a sister to him, she became a part of his tiny family. The two trusted each other more than they trusted Fury, which was saying something. Then came Clint Barton, with his family and they gladly took the three in, welcoming them with open arms into their family. To round out their little family they added Maria Hill, who became Apollo's babysitter while Perseus was out on missions. Apollo had been enamored with the older woman, and to this day he still was. In a way, Maria had been like the mother Apollo never had.
But family was never Perseus' main priority. Sure, he loved the family he had created, but his priority had been and always would be Apollo. And Perseus Black was about to prove how far he would go to protect his son.

Lagos
Perseus found himself walking around Lagos, with Apollo at his side, trying to look like a father and son on vacation when they were anything but that. Wanda and Flora were sitting at a cafe, Natasha not far from them. Atlas was with Sam, both of them bickering over comms. It was providing quite the entertainment, Apollo had to restrain himself from laughing at least 3 times.
