Yes, this chapter is a little bit boring but it'll get good in the next few ones!

Your POV
I groan, not really sure what to do. Yama could have useful information, or he could be bluffing, and why does he want me to perform? If he has so much money, why not hire some professionals who do this for a living? It just doesn't make any sense. Maybe it's a trick, but what would Yama have to gain from me? What happens if I don't respond or say no? Ugh, so many questions and no answers.
I lay back in bed, sighing as a headache creeps into my head. I rub my temples. Something kept nagging at me, like I was forgetting something- Shoot! I forgot about Tony!

I scramble to get my phone out, seeing it nearly dead. Sighing I see a message from him:

I'm alright, some cops found me. Where are you?

That was sent yesterday.

I was about to type out a reply when my phone dies. "Darn it, oh well. I'm surprised it didn't die sooner."

I put my phone away, closing my eyes and before I know it, I doze off into dreamland.

My room on the island came into view. Glancing around, I find myself face-to-face with a mysterious, blurry figure leaning over me, grinning.
I can only make out their white smile and green eyes.

"Welcome V/n." Their voice is disguised.
I frown, "it's you, you're the one who's been stalking me. Who are you?" I demand.
"You will find out in due time. As for now, my identity must remain a secret."
'I would love to know now!' I think to myself, crossing my arms.

They just chuckle, "pouting are we?"
I glare at them, "nope, what makes you say that?"
"I know you."
"Wait what?" I stare at them.
"You got my invitation to perform?" They quickly change the subject.
"That was you, but why?"
They smile, "Cannot wait to see you on stage, you'll be great."
"You insist on being mysterious, huh?"
"Wouldn't be fun if I gave you all the answers. Oh, it seems we are out of time. I'll see you later, my sweet." They bow.

The dream fades to black, my eyes blinking open. "How did they appear in my dream?" I wonder out loud.

I glance outside to see the orange, pink and purple colors of the setting sun.
How long had I been asleep? A few hours at least.

Now to focus on more important things like... did Tony poison me? But what for? There was no need and he didn't have to hit me that hard. Unless... he was actually trying to kill me. No! He can't be. He's my childhood friend, why would he ever betray me?

I shift over to my side, reaching under my pillow and pulling out the card from Yama. I study it, turning it around.
"Oh, it's a villains gathering." I mutter to myself. "Wait, this is perfect! I can study the villains while up on stage." I smile, excited about this great opportunity to land in my lap.

~~Next day~~
Still your POV
I'm released from the hospital after they ran a few tests to make sure all the poison left my system.

My grandma, Ellie, came to pick me up. She has short, silver wavy hair. Grandma is about 5'4", (s/c) skinned, (e/c) eyes, somewhat thin lips, with some wrinkles and a little on the heavier side, but not overweight. Honestly, she looks great for her age.

Ellie manages a smile, "I'm so happy you're okay, I don't know what I would have done if I lost you too." She wraps her arms around me, her voice a little horse from crying.
"I know, grandma, I'm happy too," I return the hug.
"Come on, let's get you home." Ellie heads to the car, with me trailing behind.

A shiver runs through me as I open the passenger door. I quickly look around, trying to find the source of the eyes watching me.

"Are you okay, dear?" My grandma asks worriedly.
I turn back to her, "yeah, yeah, sorry," hopping into the car.

Tony's POV
Smirking, I put down the binoculars. She's finally leaving, but now I won't have her to myself. Oh well, you have to make sacrifices sometimes.

Climbing onto my bike, I peddle home.

This is gonna be fun.
