Wanda Maximoff lived a normal life until her home was bombed at the age of ten. Her and her brother , Pietro, survived the disaster however their parents did not.
Wanda and her brother survived for a few years before volunteering for Erik Stucker's experiments.
They were only 16 when they volunteered. But at age thirteen, Wanda and Pietro received their soulmate's first words to them and a symbol of their soulmates love language on their wrists. This was how the world was, but they were shocked when Wanda received an uncommon symbol and words.
Pietro's left wrist showed a picture of a clock while his right read, "I'm Yelena. And you are?".
Wanda frowned at the odd picture on her left wrist. It seemed to be a pair of lips. And what was even more odd were the words on her right wrist.
It read, "Hey, Witchy right? Or is it Red Witch? Whatever. I'm Iris Enchantress. But you can call me Iris. You sexy Goddess.".
She turned to her older brother.
"Piet? What does sexy mean?", She asked.
"I don't know. Why?", He shrugged.
She showed him her wrists.
"That's so crazy! Your soulmate seems awesome though.", He smiled.
Wanda smiled too. She liked to think her soulmate was going to be great. The thought of meeting them someday made her happy when she was sad.
And that's what kept her going, even through the rough times.
