That arrogant jerk . Meeting with namjoon and fighting with yoongi here had made your mind occupied for few hours that you forgot about him . The nightmare that you were trying to escape from . It's time to deal with it now .

You looked back at the royal guard who stood tall relaying his king's order . Face stoic and devoid of any emotions .
"And now gentlemen , show is over" you said looking at everyone present on the battleground "It's time I deal with my own shit now" You smiled .

That's how you were , that's what you were good at . Making jokes out of your trauma and laughing at the scariest situation . Fake it till you make it that's how you lived by. As the guards who were watching scattered by after hearing you , namjoon and yoongi stood there . One with worried eyes and another with gaze full of curiosity.

You just nodded at namjoon implying that you were about to go see the emperor and smirked at yoongi who looked sideways right away. You laughed at his composure that he was trying to hold together so hard .

"Let's go" you looked at the guard who was here to call you upon the emperor's request. He looked at you like you were something foreign . That you were, but it still felt so so awkward being stared at .

As you walked through the same corridors from where you met him ; the jerk for the first time . It was inducing so much anxiety in you, your palms were sweaty and your heart was racing so bad that you felt like you were gonna pass out .

Passing out .

You told yourself that you're only gonna pass out after you've dealt with this situation . But the guard took the right turn and you were sure the throne room was on the left . You halted your steps and looked at him "Is the throne room not towards the left?" .

He looked at you like you were foreign . Again , that you were but still it is repelling when you're stared at like you are some weird creature.

"Your majesty, the sun of the empire has permitted you to dine with him in the dining hall"

He what? Permitted to dine with him ? Like heck even if your life were on line you'd never want to eat with that man on the same table .

Life on the line was a metaphor . Your life now connects two other life : hoseok and jungkook . So you just have to follow him .

You nodded your head and followed along . You were now stood in front of a huge wooden door intricate with beautiful designs and gems . It looked expensive and royal , like you'd see in period dramas . But now it's a reality you were surviving in . The big doors opened as you arrived , with beautiful hanbok on you thought no matter how anxious you were , you were gonna fight back with grace .

You walked in and he raised his head looking at you with smile that looked more like a smirk. You at that moment thought he was undeserving of any greetings from you so you walked and sat on the chair farthest away from him.

The dining table was expensive and huge . Variety of meat and fruit and curries and desserts were all laid out . The food was enough to feed you for a solid month , but it was laid out there for two people for a single dinner .

"I like my women sitting closer to me" He spoke drawing your attention . You looked at him like he was joking .

"That's great" you replied. "But I am not your women, your majesty . Should I request someone to call your concubine in?"  You smiled politely . You had to keep your calm . If it was a war of nerves and fakeness, so be it . You'd win everything that was laid out for you .

He laughed. He ignored the comment and proceeded "Your gracious presence would make my appetite even more better" He smiled and motioned his hand towards food "please"

"I'm not hungry , your majesty. Would you mind letting me know why you called for my presence?" You asked . To which he replied with "I'd like to have dinner with you and discuss our marriage plans"

He did not just say that.

"Discuss marriage plans?"
