(Still zenitsus POV )
My eye flutter open and can feel something warm and heavy on me. 'WAIT WHO IS THIS?!' "Hmmm are you awake zenitsu" mumbled the person on top of me
"I-oh it's just you tanjiro you scared me" I said with relief in my voice.
"Heh sorry zen"
'zEN?! Since when did he call me that?!'
" what's with the nickname?"
"Oh if you don't mind is it ok if I call you that?"
"Y-yeah i guess"
"Ok!"
"Hey tanjiro? What were you doing on my futon?"
" oh well when i got back i saw you shivering so i went near your futon trying to cover you up a bit more so you wont be cold and well when I was about to go you grabbed me by the arm and you wouldnt let go so I just stayed there with you."
"Geez this is kind of embarrassing sorry tanjiro...."
"It's fine zenitsu but we need to get up we might be assigned a mission today."
"Ugh do we have toooooo......"
"Yes now come on zenitsu"
(Time skip where they are now eating)
3rd POV
"Itadakimasu!" Yelled the teens that were starting to eat . They were sent off to a mission at ******** mountain they dont have to go that early as the village is nearby. A loud sigh can be heard by the blond "do we really have to go? Why not just stay and let the other demon slayers go" zenitsu said clearly annoyed and a bit frightened. "Come on Zen we have to go all of their strong demon slayers are all wounded and we are their only option." "Yeah yeah i get it Tanjiro its just scary haveing to put our lives at risk and almost dying Heck! I almost died by turning into one of those spider freaks!" Zenitsu said his breath starting to uneven and small tears forming on the corner of his eyes "zen please dont cry me and inosuke will be here to prote-'I WILL NOT PROTECT THAT CRYBABY' said the feminine face teen. "well i'll be here to protect you zenitsu please dont cry i wont let anything like that happen to you. I promise!" "Arigato tanjiro" "your welcome zenitsu..now please dont cry." Tanjiro said wiping zenitsus tears.
